Quick rundown:

The whore in Revelation is the Roman Catholic church (sorry, Catholics, way it is).

The Jesuit Order is the military arm of the Vatican, and their job is to make every person on earth submit to the pope. Jack Chick believes that the Beast and the False Prophet are the Black Pope (Jesuit General) and White Pope (the "actual" pope), respectively. And I think it fits.

The Jesuits run the CFR, the Illuminati, Opus Dei, Zionism, Freemasonry--all the secret societies. Smokescreens. They're even behind the creation of Communism. Why the Catholic church professes to hate Communism is this: During the First World War, the Vatican wanted to destroy the Orthodox Church, which is basically a split of Catholicism. The Communists, after executing Czar Nicholas II and his family, went after the priests, monks, nuns, etc. of the Orthodox Church. But the chief Patriarch offered them the Czar's gold, and they took it along with the pope's gold--they basically screwed the pope.

Obviously if they want everyone to submit to the pope (remember he claims temporal power), a NWO would have to be set up. And that's where the microchipping comes in. You'd need a chip to buy or sell, and if you refuse it, you're dead.

Is the New World Order a reality?

Firstly there are three main New World Order theories; one that the U.N. will become a Global Government, the second one where America/European Union/Fourth Reich becomes a reality and the third where Revelations become fact and not just fiction. Each of these is an easily stand alone theory that I’m sure most of you are aware of and have seen - but I’ll briefly outline each one.

United Nations Police State: This is the idea that the “bankers” or “elite” were those who set up the New World Order so that they could begin to enforce their own influence on the planet. With each Nation having to go by a set of rules which they have created - although this in some respects is truthful as the U.N. is a corrupt institution it has never been able to enforce its policy and nobody tends to listen to it. So if this is the New World Order then we’re fairly safe for the rest of our life time.

Fourth Reich: This comes from the idea that Hitler thought the Third Reich would last 1000 years, be destroyed and then after would another Police State would begin to exist. Now although the Third Reich didn’t even last 20 years a lot of high ranking Nazi officers “vanished” throughout Europe, Russia and America. These officers began to work on projects for these Nations and are rumoured to have accumulated a lot of wealth. Also leading Nazi Party Funders did and still do have a lot of power in modern America; also in some respects Europe. Such as the Bush family, Ford Dynasty - the list goes on. The only problem with this theory is Hitler made one statement and this was the idea that the Fourth Reich would be the Jewish Reich. So to acknowledge this ones existence the “Jews” have to be the controlling elite.

Revelation: Book of Revelation; written by John of Patmos is meant to describe the prophecies of the End Times for the Christian Religion and locks in with the Jewish and Muslim Religions as well as several others. The only major problems with this as it can be taken in two views; the literal view where the Whore of Babylon arises as does a Dragon on one where interpretations are placed on each of the passages and you try to find a “hidden meaning”. The main argument against the literal version is the simplistic fact that in modern times it is far to different and if God was to give John a vision of the World Ending say in a Nuclear Holocaust would he have understood it and been able to describe it properly? However if we attempt to find an interpretation within the works of Revelations it is rather easy to link it to modern times.

Now there is also one major key issue people tend to over look: could the New World Order be good or bad? Although I like the idea of a “One World” system of Government; currency and legal system, I realise the major problems this could cause people. At the present moment people are not able to function in a Society that is mildly diverse. Race and Religious attacks are still a common place within the World. Furthermore so far every attempt to instigate a World Government has resulted in Tyranny of one form or another and I find it hard to believe that this would not happen again. Many Nations started with “grand” intentions; even the Roman Empire did but in the End they resulted in nothing more then genocide. The British Empire did the same in the Americas. So could we function as One? At this moment - I think not. Until people are treated equally and only judged on merits this policy would never work.

Now as a “non-religious” person; I find Revelations a little hard to agree with. I see some parts of it becoming true and the modern symbols that are displayed in America and that were displayed in Babylon are somewhat shocking. But this is only the interpretation; we are at present a long way from the Middle East taking over and become a World Power which would be the needed part of the literal version of the Book of Revelation. But… what if these so called elites actually see themselves as being the Anti-Christ? Or see themselves as a certain aspect of Revelations? What if they attempt to push for it? Although it is slightly far fetched there have been odd occasions such as Bohemian Grove, now I myself do not agree with this. If research is done into the “Demon they worship” in Judaic Times this same Demon was Worshipped and human-sacrifice was given to it; a young baby; as well. This I dislike and somewhat worries me. Although not a directly religious person (in the sense of going to a form of Church and living by a book) I do believe Spirits, Demons, etc, all do exist. Now what if these so called “Elites” are doing nothing more then attempting to appease these Spirits? People are naïve. If they worship such “creatures” then is it not possible they have been misguided? That through their own idiocy they are attempting to bring about a One World Government which they would have ruling power over. Due to the fact they think it is for the best or are being guided in such a way? Now... at the present moment I think such an idea would be a bad thing; only resulting in war and a massive loss of life due to the fact the Human Race are not smart enough to live together.

However in the long run? I would agree with a One World Government if a more "socialist" ideology was accepted and people attempted to help one another. After all it is only a matter of time till teh majority of hard labour jobs will be lost to machines and then a large sector of the industry will be gone.

I also find this as a very intresting topic, and this is a good thread.

i think people need to understand certain things about bible prophecy though. It is not meant to be clear, it is meant to be sheilded so that those who are supposed to understand, will understand; and those who are not will think it is a bunch of hooey, and go back to watching t.v.

think about it this way. what if it said in the bible:
"the antichrist will be born on may 1st 1976 in brooklyn new york, his name will be ralph ralphson, and youll find him at school giving other kids swirlies all the time..."

guess what happens?
some guy reads this and says "oh man, todays may 1st 1976 and the antichrist is being born in brooklyn..." and he promptly runs into the hospital grabs the young antichrist and throws him out the 6th story window of the hospital.

guess what? it is no longer prophecy (because the antichrist never came to power), and what was supposed to happen (fate, the epic battle of good vs evil, ect.) did not happen...

If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed.
This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.


basically God is instructing his people not to fight the one world government... (that will be Jesus job when he returns, and he will do a good job)

Very interesting thread. Don't have a lot of time to comment a whole lot right now but one thing I think needs to be deliniated is the difference between the "harlot", the "Beast" and the "10 kings" that share power for one hour with the "beast". The "harlot" rides the "beast" which the antichrist rules for awhile.. the "beast" later turns on "babylon" and utterly destroys her.

I personally think America is "mystery babylon" mentioned in Revelations.

Re 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.


Here God is talking about the final iteration of Babylon. Notice how he clearly points the finger at the ultimate evil that is lead by this 'babylon'..."for thy MERCHANTS were the GREAT MEN of the EARTH; for by thy SORCERIES were ALL NATIONS deceived.

I don't know what they means to you but I clearly see it.


Someone here mentioned that the Vatican is the harlot/beast, well.. I can't debate that at the moment but one thing is for sure... when you follow the money you find out some interesting things. We all know that the world is run more and more by the centers of concentrated wealth through the world bank (Federal Reserve Bank) who in turn basically runs all the big intelligence agencies. It gets even more interesting when you follow it all back to where it all came from.. All roads seem to lead back to Rome!

So it would need to transform from its current configuration, into a new world government system.

I had an idea that the whore of babylon sitting upon many waters was symbolism for the statue of liberty and america but .. i dont really feel that way anymore. I think new babylon has to be a RELIGIOUS place.. because babylon was a religious place.

It has to tie into Islam. Islam has to fill a roll in Revelations, and probably not a good one.

Why? Because, in Genesis it states that Ishmael and Isaac were born unto Abraham. Ishmael was the 1st born, but born to a surrogate mother named Hagar, who Abe's wife did not like. His wife eventually had a child, but before doing so, has Hagar sent away with the 1st born son, Ishmael, to the east out of jealousy and hatred.

The scripture goes on to say that God will make Ishmael a great people, and Ishmael (the people) would be a great hunter, and "his hand will be against all nations" I quote. This is GENESIS.

Israel traces their root to Isaac; Islam traces it's lineage, at least the Arabs and Persians trace their lineage to Ishmael. Mohammad claimed to be a descendant of Ishmael.

You cant just start a prophecy like that in the 1st chapter of the book at the very beginning and then say nothing else of it. There has to be future relevance.. and its obvious who the descendant nations of Ishmael are today.

Theres also the Edomites, descendants of Esau, who did something bad to his brothers I forgot. Edomites are supposed to be a smaller, more elite ruling class in the end times and control the masses, particularly in the middle east.

There will be huge bloodshed/killings during wars among nations. (e.g. world wars we have already seen during the last century and perhaps still more to come).

The Children of Israel (Jews) shall migrate from all over the world and will gather at one place.

There will be a long war between Arabs and Persians and none of them will be a winner. (Iraq – Iran War in 1980s).

Christians and Muslims shall jointly fight against a country and will win. (Possibly Gulf War of 1991 against Iraq).

Subsequently there will emerge a big enmity between Christians and Muslims. Allied armies of Christians will attack the Muslims. Major population of them (Muslims) shall be killed. That shall be the worst period for Muslims of that time. And this will be because of their bad deeds.

The number of earthquakes will rise enormously. There will be three major earthquakes; in east, middle and west parts of the world. (e.g. more than 200,000 people were killed in South Asia during the earthquake of 2005. Was this one of the three predicted earthquakes??).

Adultery shall be so common in end times that this will be performed publicly in the streets.

The post war weapons would be the same as of ancient times, swords, sticks, etc. The life may be the same in which Jesus Christ left this world…! And before SECOND COMING of Jesus, the Anti-Christ will already be engaged in forcing humankind (particularly the followers of three major religions) to accept him as god.]

The Bible predicts a one world government, in a sence..

The bible says that eventually the whole of Earth will be consumed by one kingdom, with one leader, under one world.

I think it's right before 'Judgement Day', or whatever. I'm not religious but I watched a couple documentarys on Bible prophecys.. lol.

One world governments, and Zombies.. Thats all I really remember.

I had seen a comment somewhere on here earlier where a couple people were saying that satan may be a political leader. Just thought i'd make a post that discredits that view...

...if you take a look at 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2, it says (1)Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him. (2)That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. (3)Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition: (4)Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped,; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

...so take a look for yourselves, I think you'll find it to be very interesting. The way I look at it is that if i'm still in the flesh, it's not Jesus. Satan will be coming first and that is what i believe to be the great deception. Our political leaders are doing the devil's work, no doubt about it, but none of them are Satan himself.

while this is a very interesting and informative post. I have neither the time nor the inclination to read every post, so if i post something here that has already been posted, i apologize in advance.

To begin with, i would like to say that revelation says many things about which are to come, or may have already come. the trouble with revelation is that it is open to so much debate, or interpretation. for instance, speaking of the beast, it says in revelation chapter 13:

16:And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17:And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18:Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

this leaves much to the imagination. one may say that this represents the coming micro chip implants that are spoken of on this website quite often, and they attribute this to the fact that there was no knowledge of microchips back when this was written, so if you look at the way the world is going today, this sounds very plausible, and very probable.

One might say that the microchip began testing on animals, with the all too popular microchips that were implanted in pets that provide GPS tracking wherever they are in the world, possibly to see whether or not an organic body would accept such a chip, and to begin desensitizing people to the chip itself, so that when it became required to be planted into people, the idea would not seem so strange, as their pets were made to have them implanted, and it makes sense to have an ID with all your information implanted into you, so that identity theft will become much more difficult, some would say impossible.

lets take a look in matthew 24, where the disciples of jesus asked him the following question, and his response:

3:And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4:And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

this is pretty straightforward. jesus says "this is what will happen". there is not much to interpret. there will be wars, and rumors of wars. there will be fighting and violence in every corner of the earth.

In conclusion, i could not find anything that alludes specifically to a NWO like situation, but there are verses, such as those about the ten heads and seven horns, which may be interpreted to represent the EU,or the UN. it is obvious to me that certain groups of people want a one world order, so it's not whether the bible says it or not that one should be concerned with. If you are a believer, your only concern is where you stand in the coming days. I leave you with the following passage, from revelation:

9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

in short, refuse the mark.

I believe the reason why the Bible is so arcane is because the writers really weren't divinely inspired but just made the stuff up. That's why you can interpret it to mean almost anything you want. If the new world religion was going to be secularism/atheism, don't you think it should've used another word besides "religion" to describe it?

To me, the Bible has been proven wrong enough times already. For starters, it didn't get the creation story right. If you all look into evolution closely, you'll see there's a lot of evidence supporting it. All the mechanisms for it aren't understood at the moment, but some say, "it is both theory and fact." The Bible sounds like a children's story to me now and I grew up with it for ~23 years. The truth is much easier to defend than fiction. I got tired of trying to defend Christianity. Its defense pretty much seems utenable to me now.

The Bible is so arcane you can make it mean whatever you want. If God wanted the Bible to be perfect, He should've written it Himself.

The Bible shouldn't have used the word "religion" to talk about atheism/secularism being part of the New World Order/One World Government. That's a stretch and you know it. Currently Islam is the fastest growing religion, but I suspect with the advent of the internet that atheism will grow quickly as well.

The traditional meaning of religion does not include atheism, so don't call it a religion, because it's not. I know some of you would love to argue otherwise, but I'm pretty sure you'll lose the argument. So, do your homework before you start citing your babble that you've heard from other Christian apologists.

For one, languages didn't come from the Tower of Babel, they evolved, just like the rest of creation. Babel didn't exist in the Middle Ages when Old English came from the Germanic Tribes. There is vast support for evolution of life, which contradicts the Bible's account. Essentially, using the Bible to predict the future is a joke.
