Surely they can donate money to a fund to send their leading "flat earther" up, but even when he comes back saying he was wrong, they would just say he was brainwashed.

But, I did say they would be able to see a third of a sphere or parabolic shape. Just not a 'plateau' of a flat surface like the tin foils think.

or for that matter - the view on approach // departuure [ climbing // descending below the cloud layer

i mmost frequently fly from // to manchester international airport [ UK ]
and several mates live below the flight paths leading to // from the airport - so i always have fun trying to spot thier houses - and the view is NEVER distorted - why is that ????????????

So the windows would be normal before take off, so the pilots can see normal and the passengers see out the window like normal and then once in the stratosphere the pilot pushes the button which activates the domed window... right

and before the pilots land, presumably they will have to reactivate the normal windows so they can see like normal to land so they don't crash.

As wild as that sounds, I will bet money some flat Earthers will resort to that.

I have mentioned this before.
Anyone living in vast flat areas of this Earth can physically see earths curvature.

Australias outback has granted me the opportunity to see this by day and witness such an awe inspiring sky by night.

Or...or...you can get a Southwest Ticket for $309...and see the curvature of the earth. Hiking up a Mountain...Free.

If a pilot can make a plane fly in a great big circle, why would you not think a rocket could do the same thing ??
Now ! To get the capsule to "orbit" in a circle, that might be an even better trick.

Obviously just video screens.

The only way they will believe is at the highest point, open the door and toss em out.

it wont be a true space flight. It is most likely a very realistic simulation that tricks people into thinking they are flying around the world...
