Hello ATS, here is a bit of an older story, from 2001.

I was scanning Twitter and found this Tweet from Robert Barnes regarding an old case Mueller once tried against Isaac Asimov's son, David.

In the Tweet conversation, Barnes linked to an old story archived HERE, written by a Kathryn Dixon, which tells of a David Asimov getting arrested after bringing his computer to a repair station when printer stopped working. There the technicians found child pornography images, thousands.

Robert Mueller was JUST confirmed as the new DA,and ultimately Asimov walked. It's quite unbelievable.

HOW DAVID ASIMOV, THE BIGGEST CHILD PORN PROCESSOR IN CALIFORNIA SKATED
AWAY FROM FEDERAL PRISON WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS FRIENDS by Kathryn Dixon

David Asimov, of Living Oak Court, Bennett Ridge, Santa Rosa, the son of the late science fiction writer Isaac Asimov, was sentenced on March 28, 2001 to six months' home detention with electronic monitoring and three years federal probation for possessing child pornography. U.S. District Court Judge Maxine M. Chesney sentenced Asimov after reviewing a series of sealed psychiatric reports, one of which was ordered by the court. Asimov who was charged with four federal counts of possession of child pornography with each count carrying a five year sentence, pled guilty to two counts in a plea bargain deal. There was no forfeiture of any of Asimov's assets in this case, despite his owning a home in Santa Rosa purchased in 1996 for $375,000, and despite his receiving $3,000 per month from his father's estate. How did Asimov, who possessed one of the largest stashes of pornography in California, skate away from federal prison? A look at the players yields the answer.

.....

"There were thousands of disks, thousands of videos," said Sonoma County
>Deputy District Attorney Gary Medvigy, who personally referred to Asimov's
>home as a "processing center" for child pornography. "Anything imaginable
>regarding sex between human beings and human beings, or human beings and
>animals, was there. Whatever your imagination can conjure up, he had it. It
>was like walking into a TV studio" Santa Rosa police seized scores of
>computer disks and approximately 4,000 videocassettes from Asimov's home,
and
>approximately 1,000 of those videos contained child pornography.

...

The Sonoma County District Attorney J. Michael Mullins covered up the case,
>let the public believe the feds would prosecute it more thoroughly, and
then
>passed the cover up to U.S. Attorney Mueller.

These are just some excerpts but I encourage you to read the story.

Do any of you ATS'ers remember this story?

So has anyone been keeping an archive thread etc going of all this guys dirty deeds etc?

Even if I had had time to commit, the Two Party + MSM scene around all this sort of stuff the past year has been far too tedious the past year. Procedural drama series type BS. Most the "facts" keep changing every week its been a total charade.

It is unbelievable he got off virtually Scott free with that amount of equipment and discs/tapes. Totally sickening. Yet a teenager who is sent a nude selfie of an older girl, by the girl herself, which was unsolicited, and who was shocked and didn't know how to handle it and subsequently showed/sent the image to a friend was getting charged with distribution of child porn and put one the sex offenders register for life. The so called justice system is a complete joke and those in high places with connections in the 'pizza' club know they are above the law. Once again, totally sickening.

Exposing Mueller's past misdeeds is good but it won't get him in much trouble, as in there won't be any repercussions. He isn't in an elected position so no recourse there either.

On the other hand, it's good that he is being so vetted thoroughly now, early in his career. It might prevent him from getting any really important influential positions in his future such as say, you know, uh, special council for the DOJ for instance.....or something like that.

/sarcasm

No, but yes . In the sense that that's a typical story . In the sense that things become clear when you add a little history .
They have their friends investigate themselves .
They sneak about leaving foul smelling breadcrumbs .
But we remember the well known stories of when George smote the dragon once and for all and when the Cromwell smote off the Kings Head for amongst other crimes , rape and murder

How do you make that broad leap.
If it was a trial the jury acquitted him not the DA. The DA is the prosecutor remember.
So is the whole jury pedophiles too.
Weird logic there. Thoughtless logic.

What's funny is there are only blog or forum posts about this story. No real news sources.
You guys still swallowing everything you see on the internet? Welcome Russia they're ready for their second course.

There is more to Mueller than meets the eye. Long time shady deals with the mafia for starters.

So I'm reading what little I can find that the guy plead guilty and the judge sentenced him to six months house arrest and three years probation. According to what I've seen he didn't actually abuse any children. He possessed pornography. So is the issue that he wasn't given a death sentence for having porn?
And this reflects on Robert Mueller how?

Also as an interesting related side story...Iisac Asimov was a pedophile homosexual. And he totally ignored his family preferring to write fifteen hours a day and claimed its really just him and his typewriter.
He lived in Sri Lanka where the laws of post pubescent sex are more lax than other countries. He argued that if the post pubescent boy was okay with it that should be ok and that it was parents who raised the ruckus. Wow.

No there isn't. Trump is desperate to discredit him and he won't be able to. Stories like this nonsense making Mueller a pseudo pedophile because a man he PROSECUTED didn't get a harsher sentence is such a stretch it's laughable.
The truth is Mueller is an honorable dedicated public servant and he's smarter than trump on his best day. Trumps modus operandi is the same for every issue his corrupt lifestyle gets him into. Discredit every opponent in any way possible. So no one is going to take this seriously as any way reflecting on Muellers honor. We can all see what the attempt is.
Some...are just being led around by their noses. How's that nose of yours.

So now, in order to discredit Mueller, we are reaching into his prosecuting history and pulling up all the times he failed to get a conviction or adequate sentencing? I see the bottom of the barrel has been scraped clean through the barrel and y'all are digging into dirt now.

It's funny how Mueller is so "honorable". He must be Buddha reincarnate.

Total BS. You are confused. Isaac Asimov was NOT a pedophile homosexual nor did he live in Sri Lanka. You are thinking of Arthur C. Clarke, who lived in Sri Lanka and was admittedly gay, but there is no evidence he was a pedophile. How you could get so much so wrong in one paragraph is astounding.

No it isn't . The issue would not be that Trump is trying to discredit Mueller , so much as Mueller has been slid in to protect Trump . Yes they are going to see it as reflecting on Mueller's honour . If that Steele Dossier contained no truth , it all would have been out the window , ages ago . They were , or could have been , waiting for everyone to forget what the issue was about in the first place . Now there's a problem with that - we remembered . Ask again the Jane Doe in the Epstein case - was Trump there too ? She says , yes he was

He maybe was not strictly a pedo, but he did seem to prefer underaged boys in the post pubescent stage.

"Tipped off about the story, the Sunday Mirror sent Mr Johnson to Colombo, where he extracted an confession from the author that he paid boys for sex. "I have never had the slightest interest in children – boys or girls. They should be treated in the same way. But once they have reached the age of puberty, then it is OK," Mr Clarke was quoted as saying in the Sunday Mirror. "If the kids enjoy it and don't mind it doesn't do any harm … there is a hysteria about the whole thing in the West."

Independe nt article

I remember how pained I was when I first heard about Arthur C Clarke many years ago, especially as I am a big sci-fi fan.

Tabloid journalism that has been discredited. Typical of ATS, though. sillyome's post is complete fiction.
