An apology to ATS

I wanted to apologise to the fine people of ATS for my garbage thread a few weeks ago. I know most of you wont care but I feel like I need to get it out. Especially to a member named NarcolepticBouda!

I made a thread about shutting down the internet when I was in a really bad headspace and a little inebriated. I was asked to clarify myself and what I was claiming and I reacted terribly. I have seen this member post here before and I have seen nothing that should have made me react that way. For that I apologise.

I was also getting pressured by another member and it made me angry in my drunken stupor. I then proceeded to make short snappy posts, later referencing a certain president... This is not how I wish to conduct myself. For that I also apologise.

Play the fool and be treated as such.

That is all! Please resume your regularly scheduled programing.

We have all had those moments on the internet.....knowing it combats most of the problem.
We've all been there,don't beat yourself up over it and good for you for wanting to be held accountable.

I spent the next three hours convincing everyone...

That it was a map of Las Vegas.

Kind of hard to log on the next day after that.

Don't worry buddy, been here 13 years and still do it myself at times.... but it really shows a lot about your character to offer a sincere apology

Thankfully our colleagues here at ATS know better than to take it too personally. When you routinely discuss matters of extreme importance or those with a significant emotional context, it is unavoidable!

Especially threads about "a certain President"

Trump voter here, but no big deal. It is your right to express your opinion whether I or anybody else wants to hear it! Besides, nobody is perfect and I appreciate a person who calls it like they see it
