I'd just be happy to have Americans not tell me to mind my own business because I don't live there. Plenty of American opinion in other countries issue so why not? I've lived within 100 miles of the border most of my life(Right now Buffalo is less than 2 hours drive). I'm aware of the issues. So why is my opinion lacking?

Its not lacking at all.

People just use that excuse to assert some sort of expertise, when often they have no more of an educated opinion than the other person
