What a let down

Hope your good BBQ didn't go to waste Olaru

On a side note, wish I'd have gotten an invite. I love Trump, but I'd have showed up for the free food

We could've discussed the finer points of our political views over a couple (dozen) beers.

So, why hasn't Ms. Clifford presented any of her so-called evidence? What is there to gain by not revealing it? Especially since she articulated her desire to "clear her name" in reference to allegations she is presenting a false narrative.

I am amused at the defenders of the cheeto messiah in these circumstances. Tell me, please, what your spouses would have said if ya'll had been caught cheating on them? Would that have been of zero consequence as well? Conversely, would you be defending their sterling character if they had cheated on you?

"Well, she screwed around with that fella down at Chippendale's, but it was a while back, and she sure can bake a pie!"

It's like nobody has ever heard of character and leadership. Says much.

You missed the point - spectacularly.
Can't remember anyone claiming Trump was a paragon of virtue, so if his wife leaves him, that's on him and he'd deserve it, but it's his and his wife's business. Certainly not yours.

If you want only people who are faithful to their spouses to be eligible for President then you could go down that route, but you might find that you didn't like that so much.

Yep - another liberal scam to overturn an election crashes and burns. On to the next one... meanwhile, Trump's job approval has risen to 50% in the Rasmussen poll... 4 points above Obama at the same stage.

We always get let down. Why hasn't she come forth with her evidence? (I believe her myself). Where is the UFO evidence we were promised? Where is the final proof of Obama's birth Certificate. Where is the final nail in Hillaries coffin? Where is the final Whitewater indictments? Where is the final of the collusion investigation? What is behind Capones Wall?

We never actually get anything. Ever.

No, and it would not have gone well either.

But my opinion of him as a Husband (or even human being) is irrelevant to advancing my agenda of preserving our freedoms (all of them)

That's my only concern. Not his sterling reputation or diplomatic attitude

And I believed/believe he will do a better job upholding our Constitution than the other candidate, which is why I voted for him

We can still have the "purge" though, right? There's some white trash down the road we can practice on, I think they're democrats.

Impossible. Everyone knows this is the most hated and scandal-plagued President ever, and Obama was nearly universally loved with nary a scandal. I saw it on the news.

I buy my toilet paper in bulk at Costco, so I have no need for the Rasmussen poll.

Quinnipiac

Donald Trump is the worst of the 13 presidents who have served since the end of World War II, 41 percent of American voters say, followed by 21 percent who list Barack Obama and 10 percent who cite Richard Nixon, in a Quinnipiac University National Poll released today.

But sticking to Stormy, Trump is in a hurt of trouble. His best bet is to pay the $130k to his lawyer. Most likely that will avoid a criminal lawsuit a la John Edwards. That of course means Trump will have to essentially admit he had unprotected sex with a porn star. However Trump has never been accused of being a class act, so it wouldn't matter much to his ever shrinking faithful.

Eh, polls are all pretty unreliable across the board. I can nitpick Quinnipiac, if you want:

3 November 2016, Quinnipax

A number of Quinnipiac University polls released on Tuesday also put Clinton ahead in four key swing states. In Florida, Clinton has 46 percent to Trump’s 45 percent; in Ohio she leads by 46 percent to Trump’s 41 percent; and in Pennsylvania she leads Trump 48 percentto 43 percent. In North Carolina, Clinton has 47 percent support to Trump's 44 percent.

Shows 3 point Clinton lead, in NC. Trump won by over three percentage points. That's six point swing bias.
Six point swing in PA where Trump won.
Shows five point Clint on lead in Ohio, where Trump won by over 8%. That's a 13point swing!

And you're right, everyone already knows Trump is a billionaire playboy who had lots of sex with models and porn stars even while married. Probably why he's gone through wives. He is not a paragon of sexual mores. But everyone knew that before the election. It won't affect many votes at all.

The problem with the polls was Comey and the emails. He said it would take months to check all the emails to see if any were new. Clearly he is clueless regarding email. Hillary's server had full DKIM and SPF. It was quite secure, regarless of what Fox News says. (The irony is the US DOS server was breached.) In fact since Hillary never used a PC, at the very least she had 3DES to the handset using BES. As it turned out, Comey did verify there were no emails, but Hillary's momentum was gone.

With DKIM, it is quite easy to compare a directory of emails since the DKIM hash is highly likely to be unique. (DKIM is also how it can be determined is email has been altered. Maxine Waters and Donna Brazil should take note.)

Sure Trump voters know they voted for scum, but they didn't vote for massive corruption. Trump has clearly violated election law, assuming you don't believe his lawyer paid $130k out of the kindness of his heart. His lawyer is risking being debarred. At this point, nobody wants to take the hit for Trump since he is obviously going to be indicted by state courts once Mueller releases his report. The only solution is for Trump to reimburse his lawyer and shut his mouth regarding Ms. Daniels. But you know Trump can't do that. He lacks the discipline. This is why he can't hire any decent lawyer.

Does the Mueller legal team have a bias? Look at it this way. You're making eight figures. Mueller calls you and asks if you want to be a GS15. Unless you have an agenda, you wouldn't take the job. Now find 17 people willing to take that hit. That said, the FBI deals with the facts. Mueller is truly amazing. Look at all the idictments. Trump is going to be slaughtered.

The email announcement was the week before the 3 November polls, so I don't think that's an excuse for the polling. Trump is his own worst enemy. And he's a thin skinned egotist. And a philanderer. But none of those things are things people didn't know about before, nor are they impeachable. I'll wait to see Mueller's "smoking gun" before I get too worked up. I don't think he's getting impeached for stormy hush money interpretted as an "in-kind contribution", but good luck pinning your hopes on that.

How funny.
The Rasmussen poll was one of the better ones for the 2016 election.
Nearly all polls are showing an increase in Trumps job approval and more importantly, Trump's baseline support around 40% has not been dented by the maniacal efforts to undermine him by liberals.
I know it's hard for you to accept, but the propaganda is failing.

I guess you ignored the analysis. However I will not accept your alternate facts. I know the truth is hard for you to accept.

Big deal. Trump has dilated pupils. That doesn't mean he is a coke head. Other than popping Ambien like candy and finasteride, he doesn't do drugs. Mind you he behaves like he is on drugs!

Well Trump just threw Cohen under the bus.

“Did you know about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels?” a reporter asked the president.

“No,” Trump responded.

“Then why did Michael Cohen make it?” the reporter asked about the president’s personal lawyer, “if there was no truth to her allegations?”

“You’ll have to ask Michael Cohen,” Trump replied. “Michael’s my attorney, and you’ll have to ask Michael.”

Another reporter then asked Trump if he knew where Cohen got the money to make the payment.

“No,” Trump said. “I don’t know.”
