I realize Twitter is a Phenom these days and must be accounted for, but it is aptly named. Being "hammered by Twitter" is kind of an oxymoron, kind of
like being "attacked by butterflies." It represents the worst of the Internet, and at least for myself, easily ignored. The real wonder of it is that
people pay attention to it at all.
Just a note that sex does matter in organ transplants but not in the way you are describing. For example:
A woman can donate a kidney to a man or a woman.
A man can donate a kidney to a man or a woman.
As far as outcomes go - kidneys harvested from male patients tend to do (20-22%) better than than kidneys donated from female patients (regardless of
if the patient who receives the kidney is a man or a woman).
So overall male doner kidneys do better. People who recieve a kidney from a female kidney donor face a slightly higher risk of death.
