I am writing here to continue an ongoing discussion that seems to have lost sight of the original intent of the thread. I do not wish to pollute the spirit of the original thread with this tangent. Thus, I am starting a new thread on this topic. I welcome everyone to join, as the input of all is welcome, and often needed.

Some of you may have seen in another thread that I sense an impending situation, which is the reason that many ancient souls, and those that predate the ancients are on this earth. I stated in that thread that I have theories on what is coming. It is in this thread that I shall post the theory that keeps haunting my mind, above all others.

I will warn all of you in advance that I have no evidence to substatiate this theory besides that which is known in the mundane world now. Everything I write here is a culmination of personal thoughts, visions, and conversations with the ancestors, as well as other sprits of great wisdom that I am fortunate enough to speak with. That said, I shall continue with my thoughts.

My thoughts and conversations speak of a time of great darkness. A war. A time where good people are challenged by a corrupted darkness. I believe this darkness be be a form of evil corrupted under the guise of false religion. People claiming to be of the light, yet serve their own agendas. Their own agendas only serve to harm those of us who truly wish to simply survive, live our own lives peacefully. I see great fire befalling us, and great harm coming to this world. I do not speak of an apocalypse, as those of us required to keep the balance will survive. I see life as we know it ceasing to exist, and a new life being born from the ashes. A phoenix from the flames. Many of us will live to see this. Many will not. I see a time where our selfishness will destroy us. Our lack of respect for this Earth will destroy us. A lack of restraint will destroy us. I see a time where father kills son kills sister. A time where that which we seek from life is taken from us.

I see the antagonist in this conflict being born of the darkness, and proclaiming to be of the light. A pledge for justice and goodness only harbors a deeper desire for destruction. We are all to be victims, but not all of us dead. Ultimately, we will confront and eliminate this corrupted darkness, but many will not survive. This is a matter of importance to every one of us, and we will each do what we see is right. There will be those of us here, however, to help guide the others through. We who become guides seek no glory. We will not be heralded as gods or heros. We will simply exist, many of us not even knowing that which we have done. The cattle will become the force... that which brings us to survival. We will survive, in in light of so many deaths. Those that die for this will be welcomed into their afterlife as heroes, and asked back here to continue their deeds.

Darkness is upon us, and we are here to protect. The war is unavoidable at this point, as the wheel has already been turned.

As I read and summarize this in my head, all these visions and theories are really just saying is that a great war is coming but some will survive. Extremely general. There are no specific examples of things to come. Judging by the state of the world right now, I think everyone can all pretty much assume that bad times and "darkness" are coming, a great war very soon with all of the terrorists and nuclear development. "Fire from above" can mean any kind of weapon or missile, which is obvious in war.

Predictions of dark days ahead and a great war to come has been predicted by thousands upon thousands. Do you ever get any hard specific visions that can hopefully try to validate these theories? I do not deny what you've been "seeing" and find it fascinating that you speak to these spirits. But these predictions are just nothing new.

As I have stated in previous posts on different threads, I do not know what is coming. What I have presented here is just one of the theories. Reading between the lines, you may be able to see the parallels. The entities that I speak with do not want to reveal the truth, as it could inhibit my ability to do what I see fit.

Personally, interpreting my own story, I see WWIII, a nuclear war coming. I see George Bush at the head of the conflict. I have no proof of this, as I stated earlier, the spirits I speak with say nothing of details. I posted this with hopes of others who have had premonitions of dark times to post their own experiences or interpretations.

i have not seen another nuclear war..until i few weeks ago.
i have allways felt that no one would press the button..that it is just a scare/power tactic...but now i do not know....if no one presses a button..could nature thru her vibrations set it off..earthquakes around the nuclear sites....i see that before the button being pressed...something will happen for it has allways happened...we can learn from the past..the last ice age and flooding receded ?is it 12000 yrs ago..it still is!
there have been great pyramids and cities long before that..we know at least back to 82000 yrs at least?
i had a vision years ago while walking in the fields behind my house,looking at the mountains that surrounded me and the village below..
i seen the trees practically gone and the land eroding..campsites spread across the hillsides...the sky was dark and so the people..
the vallies filled with water..
the vision was very dark and very real in my minds eye..
i had to make it go away.
i live not to far from the atomic plants...2 of them and they are along the center of the tetonic sp.? plates here in eastern usa.
shelburne massachuesettes....i vision a large quake and these plants blowing up..
this area has lots of influencing energy...along with the nuclear plants there are also healing spiritual centers and the arts..
there is an ancient calendar site on the same ley line above and many other ancient sites...
i see the knowledge of these sites resurfacing.it is calling me to understand
i feel i have been challenged severly with lessons that keep telling me to reamain posotive no matter what is presented for me..
at this time i am feeling the need to unleash my full potential with my creativity and at the same time i feel like crawling into the ancient caves near by and hiding under a rock.
i will do all i can with in the power with in me to do whatever i have to in a peaceful way.
i have been told over and over that i am special indeed and to firmly believe in myself no matter what is presented to me..
ive also been told it is time to step on the gas pedal
all i know is that my voice keeps telling me to be here now...not in the past nor the future...right here right now
so i try..thou the voice speaks again more aload then before /there is no trying there is just do!

I have personally been feeling the need to be ready for the immediate evacuation of my home. I have no idea why, and I am loathe to chalk it off to paranoia - I am not a paranoid person. I already own a very high quality hiking bag, and I'm planning to buy waterproof containers for documents, books, and papers and such.

I don't know why I've been getting this feeling, but over the years, I've learned to trust my feelings implicitly. Also, I want to be ready to buy tickets to Mexico (I live in Ottawa, Canada). Again, I do not know why I have this feeling. I just know that if it appears that a calamity will be impending, I will need to be able to evacuate to Mexico quickly.

Amelia, Obsidian, and Greenman, I wanted to ask your opinion on something: I often feel like I am a visitor to this place and time. I feel like I am on sabbatical, or on assignment, or on field research on this planet. I believe my mission in this lifetime is to evolve as far as possible, and help others around me do the same through example and help. My duty to humanity right now is to be one of the "first ones" to break through the veil of ignorance and fear that humanity is gripped with, and to "pull" the rest of the population in after me.

I often feel that I am a teacher, a researcher, and an artist. A creator. I simply wish to create and help others do the same. I believe that it is my highest calling - to use creativity in its purest form, in harmony with the universe. It is such a strange feeling, what do you think, guys? Perhaps I incarnated into this lifetime from being a very powerful or knowledgeable being?

And I understand the horrifying loneliness of it all. I sit on buses and trains every day, and I cannot help but be both saddened and enlightened by the people around me. They appear as children to me...I even appear as a child to myself a lot of times! I wonder how many beings are there on this planet who understand as much as I do, or who are more advanced than I am? Would they consider me a child as well?

But I do not dwell on negativity. I see beauty in every can of garbage, in every flower, in a dust mote floating by my eyes, the fractalic bursts of my condensed breath in the frozen air. And at those times, I realize: everything is in its right place. It always is.

NOT paranoid,i think it is great to be prepared for anything that happen..
everyday somewhere there is an extreme in front of some one,,power outages,accidents,drought,floods,blizzards,sink holes,avalanches/mudslides..etc etc..instead of paranoia we can call in ready for anything..



i also keep looking at the alternatives for a place for shelter..i keep thinking above 3000 feet in a nook and cranny,in the ground,i like the idea of earthen shelters..hidden and protected from tempatures..i should look for a site on a mountain side in the solid stone

we are all just visitors here really..none of us stay to long,and no one really owns the land,they are just our illusionary boundries we draw up with in our reality..
it is grand to know what your purpose is..now only if we can give it our 100%..as thousand are awakening and breaking thru the barriers as we are trying..DOING.others will awaken as well..thou not all nor should it ever be expected...save yourself..it takes a tremendous amount of energy.

I have the rare precognitive dream, about one every 6 years on average, but they don't differ enough from other dreams for me to know they are precognitive until the scene presents itself later. So, I cannot predict the future by any paranormal means, despite being able to see the rare glimpse of my own future in these dreams.
My conclusions about the future are based on my researching ancient predictions and modern scientists forecasts. Because so many ancient texts point to the same timeperiod and describe such similar scenes, and because the scenarios are becoming more likely according to models which show what our present behaviour will lead to, I feel we cannot avoid a major crisis in the not to distant future. Unless we make some extreme changes in what we are doing to address it.

greenmansmind - just curious, are you a Massachusetts resident? I am, just wondering because I saw the reference to Sherborn.

I live in central MA, and the Quabbin-Boston aqueduct has always fascinated me as a potential source of some kind of environmental disaster, I don't know if it can "break" someday like a fault line or what.

just something from a convo i had with obs a long time ago (he prolly wont remember it) but apparently a lot of people are seeing visions of similar nature, be they of personal experiences during a war, or of seeing the grand picture of the events etc...

now yes it is a totally valid point that it isnt too hard to tell the poo is about to hit the turboprop, but it could also be said that we are being warnded.

Hello, this is my first post on ATS. I felt compelled to use this as my first post because I too have had dreams such as these.
The main one I can remember was very vivid and almost as if I were jumping forward about an hour or so at a time. These "jumps" could just be my only recollection of the dream as a whole.

But anyhow, it was very odd and scary. I shall list these "jumps" chronologically:

At first I was sitting around chilling with some of my buds watching tv at my place.

Than I found myself driving back to my parents place, whom live in another city. (Not all that far away though, I live in Tulsa, OK and they live in one of the adjecent towns which is basically a suburb.)

After that i was driving around attempting to find someone, as to whom it might have been I have no idea.

All of the sudden I was running down some hotel steps with a good friend of mine, and another person, a female to be precise...
(Dont really know who she was, all I know is that I felt as though I cared for her greatly. I assume that I was trying to find this girl before.)

Next I found myself back in my vehicle filled with many people whom I care about. I found myself looking to the right of the vehicle and the hotel which we ran out of could still be seen in the back ground.
(It was a very tall building surrounded by nothing but smaller buildings)

An extremely bright flash subsequently followed, and of course I stepped on the gas pedal as much as I could, all I could think about was gettin the hell out of dodge...

After that I found myself looking at a mushroom cloud a great distance away, than i awoke. In a cold sweat I might add.

I had this dream about a year ago, and I have honestly not been able to get it out of my mind. (Probably the reason as to why I remember so many details.)
I really have no idea as to what to make out of it. I just wanted to share with you all and see what your thoughts might be.
