Why would anyone assume an alien race would be superior and not perhaps a race of sociopaths? I'm not sure I care what they think about us.

Maybe they think we are weak fools due to our emotions? Emotions are illogical after all.

Perhaps surprising to many that might not know, that exact thing has been reported by abductees quite often.

If I discovered life on another world I would study it before making contact. If I discovered something like computers and the internet I would study the content and probably even talk to people as if one of them to see what they are like.

So, what if something like that is happening already?

All it would take is to steal a laptop, learn how it works and hook up to a free WiFi somewhere.

What would they think of humanity if they did that and went on the net?

Billions of porn pics and videos... most places you talk are filled with insults... sites like live leak where thousands of users applaud violent videos...

What if aliens are really here and already talk to people on the net but they get insulted and treated like dirt?

I can just imagine 2 little green dudes flying into our atmosphere, logging onto the internet and after an hour of reading and watching what we are doing, look at each other, a shake of the head, a few censured words exchanged followed by a quick U-turn back into deep space.

Reading the Internet would probably give aliens a better idea of humans than those nude pics we sent into space in the 1970's (and while they showed the gentleman's tackle, they weren't allowed to show the woman's cookie, or their funding would be withdrawn).

On the Internet you can see both male and female nether-regions (just not on ATS and Facebook), so for aliens it must be more like going to a human wild-life park, rather than a zoo. Humanity red in tooth and claw.

What I wonder is, what if we got to see alien Internet?
Would that make us more friendly or hostile?
