Come at me bro!

Be Careful what your leaders wish for!

I'm tired, let's rumble and get it over with.

I want Boston back.

That idiot wants a war?

It won't be as painless as this tho.

You lefties be shooting your AR-15 assault rifles, cool.

We'll have a meat grinder on every corner.

I think the Rep is reminding why we have the right to bare arms, the right to assemble, and the right to free speech.

The reason those rights exist in America is to contain a mistake like trump.

I would gladly exercise my rights - as our forefathers intended - to preserve America.

The problem is that we increasingly have two ideas of what America is.

And I am not talking about "rich" and "poor." I am talking those who think we need to become a socialist nation and those who prefer the older way of individual reliance and liberty. The two models are not compatible, and no one is willing to understand the other side.

We also have a budding communist revolution masquerading as a social equity movement.

It is also why keeping divisions among the people are important. If we all agreed on things, we might all agree that it is time to physically remove the deadwood holding us down as a nation. Thus getting that very lopsided civil war/revolution spoke about. Only us vs them instead of red vs blue.

Oh an armed insurrection will only lead to worse results. Why is a congressman advocating or threatening violence? Shouldn't this be grounds for removal from office?

Wait...so the second amendment only applies if the gub'mint comes for mah guns?

I sure as hell won't use the second amendment because some gubment scrub says "Resist Trump" cuz he is a Nazi. LOL. It goes both ways.

I don't agree with armed insurrection of an elected official. We could all act like adults and use the election process to push our agenda. Unless the reds attack our Facebook profiles again.

It is by design. People are too stupid to see it.

However, even if you get them off the political crack, they still tend to think that naturally everyone will then think the way they do afterward which doesn't fix anything.

I very much agree and would be in favor of it if more people would wake up to the psyop these people are playing at.

I say let him be the first to fire a shot. If he's calling for this then I'm sure he'll have no issue being on the frontlines. But then again he's a politician and they're usually the first ones to tell other people to die for them while they run for cover.

Pretty disturbing that politicians are now pretty much openly calling for war between Americans. The ones saying "bring it on" are just as bad, almost as if they are hoping for something like this will happen.

Yeah well, how long you want this to simmer?

Wait until a truck bomb goes off somewhere in the middle of some dem stronghold or worse, a repub stronghold?

Start shooting and reduce casualties.

Who's next Rick?

You are Nagan.

You go right ahead and be that guy and be a "hero". I will be watching you and whatever band of misfits you decided to join get collectively arrested.

The only side I fight for is the one for the people, by the people. There is no red vs blue.

The Congressman was clearly using irony. The NRA's role in creating divisiveness is front and center at the moment, and he was clearly referencing Trump's earlier "coded speech." What is disturbing is that many people seem to believe that armed insurrection is possible now, at least here on ATS.

A further irony, the sides have switched. Those who were preparing to defend themselves from the federal government under Obama are now preparing to defend that same federal government... or at least the parts of it that Trump can control.

No he wasn't, he's asking to eat a bullet.

Some kinda sick Martyr to his sick cause.

Trump is CnC.

Watch out if he starts calling all the troops back from everywhere.

And it seems this idiot congressman forgot what side he is on. He is on the side that are against the right to bear arms, so asking these idiots to begin a rebellion is suicide. But, you know, to each his own. Go for it!

I know.

This sort of "logic" is facepalm worthy.

On the one hand, this party is "GIVE UP YOUR GUNS! No one needs a gun, only the officials of the government -- police and military!"

On the other hand, this party is "WE NEED ARMED INSURRECTION! The agents of this government are violating the constitution"

Someone needs to tell them the two positions are 180 degrees diametrically opposed.

Shhhhh!

Hopefully you or your loved ones aren't victims of those who decide to fire first. If so, you asked for it.

That would explain their gung-ho attitude toward people shooting at each other, they'll be nowhere near the bloodbath.

I would be aiming at who ever shoots at me or mine first, whoever comes into my home to take our crumbs to feed their family, lol... where the bullet goes is really anyone's guess... I'm a terrible aim.
I was serious, I've listened to quite a few videos, read many of the threads here... I can't help but wonder if there will be mobs of alt right with guns on the streets taking pop shots at anyone they think is a liberal if there is an attempt to remove trump from office. no matter what evidence is presented as proof. as trump said, he could kill someone in broad daylight on the main street of a major city with video played on the major tv networks, and his supporters would still defend him and insist that he's the greatest president of all time.
and if he shuts the investigation down, which he sure seems like he wants to do... and if russia is posing a threat, and if russia has a puppet in the white house and congress along with the ability to shut down the grid, just how long do you think russia is gonna be patient before they decide to flex that muscle to put more pressure on his puppets in our government so they can have their sanctions lifted and get their money? imagine a world where people can't access their bank accounts, can't use their credit and debit cards, get their food stamps and welfare checks... in the dark with no water.
I read somewhere that they also have this hold on great britain and this is why they really haven't done much up till now when the russian defectors on their soil are assassinated.
neither option looks that pleasant to me. as it is, I've been trying to keep my home stocked with food and a supply of cash, just in case. but, I have three adult sons, and not a one of them will listen to me about this. how many younger adults are gliding through life and not even getting any kind of warning like this? add in those that are living paycheck to paycheck who would be out of work if the grid went down and well....

what can I say...
