What are you eating today?!

It is a cold but very beautiful Sunday isn’t it! So today I just fired up my charcoal grill and still awaiting for THE TIME! A few day ago I decided its been too long since last I made some wings! So I got 24 wings and have had them soaking in buffalo sauce with some Dijon mustard. Along with a few other things but I refuse to give up those details
I am going to make my neighbors drool over the smell. And every time I grill I always get a text! But enough of me I want to know if any of you have anything special planned!?

Its cloudy and damp and like 45 here in So Cali. My partner is going to Smoke A Tri-Tip, in his Master Built electric smoker.....it is fantastic. Tri Tip,is a steak, roast. I had never heard of it till I moved here. They are really yummy, on the grill or smoked.

It's overcast and muggy. And I was almost cleaned up by a hooligan on a push bike who waited till he was out of reach to look back and dare to sneer. meth head.

So I've been eating dried fruit and slices of hot spiced sausage. Goes well with the white wine.

Naww, who am I kidding nothing goes well with this swill.. it's just to cover the taste.

I hate my life...

I have recently found a cut of meat from a cow called the top blade. It is considered a pot roast, but i cut it about 1/4” thick, marinate it in a brine with worsteshire, and cook it well done in a skillet. It might be the most tender cut i have ever had.

I think it would do very well as jerky too.

Black coffee and an apple for breakfast as I read ATS ... lol. Not too exciting. I’m planning to make homemade pizza with the kids for supper tonight so I’m keeping it light in anticipation of a future pig-out.

Right now I'm eating chicken breast, pepperoni, pepper jack cheese, and some blueberries and cream for dessert. Later I'll have steak and eggs with tomatoes, green peppers, and onions probably.

It's a lot to eat, but it's Sunday, so..I let myself splurge a bit!

Thanks,
blend

It's Australian colloquialism
To be cleaned up is when the guy pushing his bike is really ugly, making a person look clean or good looking, " cleaned up"
Push bike is just that, it's a bike without pedals or a seat and you push it around, they can carry stuff, like tools, lumber and shopping

Or something maybe a little like that maybe

Anyway, snaggas and eggs, no frills, just cooked in an air fryer

Wish I had more but I will drown myself in movies while I wait for my wings! First up is 2012!! I know its not the best but it looks cool with the cgi and I feel like a doomporn movie day.

As a matter of fact Mr Man said something about grilling up some meat today. It’s lovely where I’m at, in the 70’s so it’s a perfect day for it. While he does that I am going to do baked macaroni and cheese with bacon wrapped asparagus. Last night I did steak tacos in a crisped soft shell with garlic lime rice, cilantro and Monterey Jack so yummy.

All that sounds awesome! I made a tasty egg salad last night but my chickens aren’t laying right now so eggs are off the table for a few days

Sunny and beautiful in northern indiana.
Supposed to get to 54 today...hmmm

My wife and I are on a died now for about a week.

No refined sugar, except in my coffee.
No potatoes.
No pasta.
No bread.

Lots of vegetables,
Lots of fruits,
Lots of fish,
Pretty much any meat but processed types like bacon and deli garbage.

The hardest part of the diet is breakfast time.
No more little debbies.

And we joined the ymca two months ago and are actually loving working out at least 4 times a week.
Life is busy and it's hard to get there every night.

Slooooooooow BBQing a full rack of ribs on the grill this mornin'. Gonna have those along with cole slaw, baked beans, corn and yeast rolls.
Put'em on about half hour ago. Should be done around 6.
Come on over and grab a plate.

......bring beer.

Oh it’s delicious and for best results leave as much space as possible between wraps and place them as far apart as possible on a rack with pan below to catch drip. You get maximum airflow around the stalks for more evenly crisped bacon.
