No, not really. It "reeks" of McCabe not being paid into his old age, for dishonorable service, to the people he swore to defend and protect, because he himself couldn't control his own contempt for our Republic.
He was part of the sludge, that was clogging the drain "for democracy ". The U.S.A. is not a "democracy". We're a "Republic"! We have "laws"! the "laws" are in our Constitution. This dirt bag was trying to ride the "majority/democracy" train, and lost.
He's still banking on "liberal logic"..to save his reputation. He'll be a "hero" to the ignorant. That's all he will ever be. A B. Arnold... Doing good things, a few times. But selling out and sitting down, when he needed to stand. .. Regardless of his political leanings, likes or dislikes. That's what libs don't understand. You take an oath, you sware, your job is to "ride for the brand "! If he is the caliber of "FBI" and/or any other, "alphabet" agencies? He's everything an American Patriot warned you about. That doesn't make McCabe a "hero" or a good "leo". ..it makes him a traitor. He deserves more than being "fired". He should thank Devine providence, that's all that'll happen.

People forget it was McCain who said "first we # Flynn, then we # Trump." So, looks like McCabe a the one who got #ed first.

Democrats, are socialist. Republicans, are democrats. Americans, just want to be left alone. God dam*! Kinda makes you wonder about that part in the U.S. Constitution, where the "founders" said Congress has,... "exclusive legislation, not EXCEEDING, ten miles square"...kinda makes one wonder how these alphabet organizations got outside the Constitutional playpen in the first place.

People just ignore the fact that his own employer fired him for failing to do his job and quite possibly breaking the law.

Where did this BS about the US not being a democracy start? Do people not take simple civics classes anymore? The United States of America is a representative democracy also known as a republic.

Yep....those FBI guys that recommended his firing don’t take kindly to liars these days. They used to back in Obama’s reign but corruption is being dealt with rather than encouraged now.

as usual , we will have to wait . Trump is still in office and Comey and McCabe are gone . When the IG report becomes public we may have more answers . I'm sure both sides will spin what is in the report in their favor . As others have said , whoever is guilty or corrupt should be in prison .

Yeah, this new type of "democracy" that isn't really democracy, hence we need a new word for it? Republic.

I am not going to address any single poster with this:

The USA not a true democracy.

It is a republic where we get laws created by just about anyone (usually corporations) that are passed by our elected representatives.

Sometimes we get things like the ACA, which benefitted the health insurance industry. Remember the ACA?
The law that forced citizens to buy a product of private industry?
Polls conducted immediately after it passed showed that over 50% of the American people did not like it or want it.
In a true democracy, it would not have become a law.

The closest thing that we have to democracy are referendum votes.... and most of them are not binding.... making them nothing more than a poll of actual voters, which is just just a step above a poll of likely voters.

Just to be clear, a democratic republic is not a democracy; and we don't have a democratic republic. We have a Constitutional Republic. The differences are significant --

A Constitutional Republic recognizes and protects natural and inalienable rights that cannot be violated even with a democratic majority.

A democracy is strict majority rule. There are no rights and no protections in a democracy. Even the democracy itself can be voted out of existence...

Is it true that about 95 FBI employees have been terminated for "lack of candor", over the past 12 months?

I heard that as well. I'd like to see a source on it. I doubt we'll get a source that the left wingers here would accept. The sources they'd accept probably won't cover that aspect because it will go against the narrative that firing McCabe for this was somehow wrong.

So 19 not 95
still shows that there is plenty of precedent for this. I served my time in the Air Force honorably to earn my retirement. Government pensions are not a right. He doesn't deserve his based on what it's reported the OPR established he did, in my opinion. I can't wait for the IG report. Just the little sniffs that we got a few days ago have caused mass panic in the media.

It has caused mass panic, and I have been considering that.

Back after Comey was fired (in a very unusual manner) I speculated that the only reason to fire him in the manner it happened was to gain access to information he had in his office. He was fired while out of town, with absolutely no advance notice, immediately, and notified by private courier. That's rough optics and I doubt it would have gone down that way without a very good reason.

But since then, there has been little revelation as to any information so gained. Now I'm thinking the DoJ was not able to retrieve the information (encryption?) and was being stymied by McCabe. That would explain this firing, and the timing may have been due to an attempt to give him one last chance to cough up the access. None of this would have been in violation of protocol, because the DoJ oversees the FBI and should have access to all FBI records and information.

I still maintain that's why the sudden, violent outburst from the establishment: Trump got elected to an office which holds access to all the information needed to drain the swamp, and he himself does not have any dirt in the data. He's not a politician and thus has not been under that radar since his local introduction into politics. The FBI is the lynch pin to the whole corruption mess... J. Edgar Hoover set it up; no one has ever torn it down.
