Well he’s not for banning all guns so... not a hypocrite?

Yeah, riiiiiggghhhttt... this is obviously one of those "if you like your guns, you can keep your guns" statements the left has become so well known for.

Sanders needs to go back to the only non-elected "job" he's ever had, writing bad rape fantasy stories and exchanging recipes for hemp seed granola and leave the lawmaking and representing to people with an actual clue. The man couldn't even beat the loser of the 2016 US POTUS election.

Not a Sanders fan. but in his defense (wow, never thought I would be defending him) his primary was stolen.

He probably would not have won anyways with 20% support of the US of A, but he was never given the chance to REALLY fail.

I mean, the primary. He has been given the chance and ROCKED really failing most of his life.

If it helps, he seemed pretty willing to concede. Given the support for HRC and the new house. His wife also has some legal battles to face.

Point. It IS a nice lake house, after all. And the Arkancide thing was probably weighing on his thoughts too.

So at the end of the day, like every good socialist he took someone else's money and got comfortable.

He garnered millions fewer votes and outright lost by 9%, losing 34-23 across the primaries. How was anything stolen from him outside of his smile?

That whole part where the DNC, with the DNC chairman taking part in and later writing a book about it, explained that the DNC slanted the election towards Clinton. Like the DNC poured all thier money into the Hillary campaign instead of the Sanders campaign because Hillary was given control of the DNC campaign money.

By the way, when your primary pick has 20% of the vote but lost at 9% (the threshold for media attention) do you not think that your candidate is being picked for you?

I'm thinking Ron Paul all over again.

So you are saying Sen Sanders didn’t have armed guards?

If he did, I would say you owe the OP an apology
If he didn’t, the the OP owes ATS an apology

I will let you decide who is being honest with his post and respect your deduction

There is nothing hypocritical about not wanting to ban all guns (the conservative fallacy about all liberals) and having armed guards.

Yeah it's not like his guards were carrying those crazy demon possessed assault rifles... just a few harmless handguns.

Then you must be a total idiot,
A lifelong independent he stands for much more than any other political party in the US, and doesn't have the same stink as the others, and it stands out a mile. He is the real workers man, and ran his own campaign..no super pac lobby money. it's just a pity America is so jammed up with big money that Americans can't see the wood for the trees.
Give the man some credit, and wise up...that's if you're interested at all. Sheesh!

If he got the guns he doesn't like banned would he still use guards? If so that clearly isn't the solution.

Would anyone in government ever stop using guards?

I'm the "idiot" because I didn't fall for a pile of lying BS? Really?
www.politico.com...

Bernie Sanders rails against super PACs, but the main super PAC supporting his presidential campaign had its biggest off-year fundraising haul ever, bringing in $2.3 million last year, according to a report filed Sunday morning with the Federal Election Commission.

www.seattletimes.com...

More super PAC money has been spent in express support of Sen. Bernie Sanders than for either of his Democratic rivals, including Hillary Clinton, according to Federal Election Commission records.

time.com...

Now, there is a pro-Sanders super PAC just for the millennials of Alaska.

The Anchorage-based America’s Youth PAC, made up almost entirely of former Bernie 2016 campaign staffers, is the latest unconventional outside group to throw its support behind the Vermont senator.

townhall.com... 95

Yet the Vermont senator has benefited from at least $1.5 million in backing from super PACs and from political groups that don’t have to fully disclose their donors, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission.

www.newsweek.com...

You might not think the National Cannabis Industry Association, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and National Mining Association have much in common.

But they have this: Lobbyists for these organizations have donated money to the presidential campaign of Democrat Bernie Sanders, the self-described socialist who has regularly castigated special interests and the government influence industry.

www.washingtonexaminer.com...

A new review of presidential donations finds that Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has decried the influence of lobbyists, has accepted nearly two dozen donations from corporate influencers.

The Center for Public Integrity found that lobbyists for mostly left-leaning groups such as labor unions and the marijuana industry have coughed up checks for Sanders.

Avert your eyes because the emperor has no clothes. You fell for a fraud and, frankly, if attempting to insult those who recognize the man is a fraud, couldn't win a national race for dog catcher, and stinks as bad if not worse than most of his peers is all you can come up with, I'm in no way surprised you supported Sanders to begin with. Don't get too attached to him, though. This idea of Sanders running again in 2020 is unlikely to happen, as he is likely to be far too busy trying to keep himself and his wife out of prison for bank fraud. It's got to be difficult to wrap your head around a Senator who claims to eschew lobbyists having not only accepted money from lobbyists, but even going so far as to use his position as a United States Senator to lobby and pressure the People's United (THE IRONY!!!) Bank into approving a $10 Million loan to the university his dear wife then left in fiscal ruin. What's more, the Man Who Hates The Wealthy™ used a multimillionare family friend, real estate mogul Tony Pomerleau, to finance a bridge loan for the university to obtain the $10 Mil loan.

When you say lifelong "independent," you're right... Sanders independently does whatever is best for Bernie Sanders. Whatever makes him the most money with the least personal exposure and the least amount of effort imaginable. He LOVES other people's money. Hell, the thief tried to win a primary by promising to give other people's earnings to whoever voted for him. "Free" college, "free" healthcare, "free" love, "Free" rape fantasy essays, "free" sports car for the Bern, "free" summer vacation home for the Sanders' family... "Man of integrity" my ass. He's as filthy as a sewer rat and twice as dishonest.
