I effing knew it.

These idiots are trying to restart the cold war/

ARREST OR KILL THEM before we all die from this insanity.

Russia is a saint of a country as far as patience goes. That can change.

EDIT TO ADD:
Yeah, the USA / UK and UN used a nerve agent on the UK population too just now. Yeah. Thats also what this means.

Protect yourselves from 9/11s. These things are done to us now. This is reality.

Paris attacks...

Something is really brewing up against Russia or perhaps more specifically Putin.I guess it's backfiring-time for the meddling in last U.S elections. What troubles me is i don't know if the U.K is the dummy of the story or full in it; in any case it clearly appears the US government is the mastermind in light of those revelations.

Apologies. You are correct. I wasn't 100% sure when I typed it. That's the lady I was referring to though. Thanks

Yeah, I am not saying that it wasn't Russia, or at least Russians. However, the British government has not provided any substantial evidence that could be considered proof. There are a number of parties that could be involved yet they are saying with all certainty that it was Russia.

Personally I need something a bit more concrete than "we're sure it's them because the weapon was made originally by Russia and Russia have done stuff before". That could well be true, it could also be just casting enough doubt as to convince the public to accept it as true without anyone ever looking too closely into the matter.

Even if we could actually prove that it was Russians that did it, that's still a ways from actually proving it was sanctioned or instigated by the Russian government. The guy likely pissed off quite a few people in his lifetime.

Could we have orchestrated the attack in order to blame Russia for something, leading to the UN speech about Russia targeting (possibly) NYC and calling for action, which would lead to the public opinion swaying behind Russia being a terroristic threat that needs to be bomber and invaded?

......... Nah, we've never done that before. That's just crazy talk. It's not like we would get ourselves and/or other people up with a false flag attack to prompt military action that we've had planned out for sometime already.

Nope, nothing to see here, folks.

I don't understand why Russia would use a nerve agent from that era.....it's 2018 dammit...surely there are far better untraceable nerve agents available to them now.

The moment I hear how old that nerve agent is the more I call bunk on Russia being the culprit.

I would understand them off-ing a traitor, not that I agree with it, but in the manner done so...screams false falg and attempt to force negative general opinion on to Russia

Yeah just about anyone could produce or acquire substances to get us in a war that totally weakens us and strains our capability if that's all the evidence needed. Also: The black marketing of military assets after the collapse of the USSR is very well documented.

Seems like our politicians and IC aren't intelligent enough to consider such a possibility or they wouldn't be beating the drums so loudly and quickly. Scary to think that we have folk so impulsive in power. Scary, too, to see how so many Progressives are so ready for war yet understand history so little.

Somebody wants war with Russia it seems. Go figure.

Is the EU actually orchestrating this #show with the Skripal assassination in an attempt to brake May's government and revert brexit ?
.... And all of this while blaming Russia, due to recent EU failures in controlling Ukraine ?

There would be absolutely NO need for a specialised containment facility, JUST for this chemical agent. There are two main reasons I have, for saying this.

1) The chemical is what is known as a binary agent. This means that the component parts only become lethally dangerous, when they are combined together. They are never stored together, only mixed before deployment into whatever situation they are used in. This minimises the risk of accidental exposure during a leak in storage, and minimises the risk of the user accidentally doing themselves an injury with the stuff also.

2) The US already has chemical weapons programs and facilities to manage stockpiles of extremely deadly toxins, and the storage requirements for those weapons, many of them also of a binary type, are not going to be different enough from the structure and stability of this Novichok stuff, that a totally dedicated, brand new installation would have to be erected, just to cope with its presence. The components will be stored separately, so that their becoming mixed by accident is not possible. You could store them right along side a bunch of other, similarly constructed materials, without a problem. Using existing storage facilities would be perfectly adequate for storing something like this.

Novichok was the "made up" chemical weapon in sum of all fears ( affleck) 2002.... Just sayin

I don't understand why give it this name. Novichok, unless it's just to make it sound Russian.
That stuff described in Mirzayanov book is either, simply a fraud mix that will blow up in your face or probably GB or V-VX

Ben Affleck or not, it does not matter. These weapons (chemical weapons) have been repeatedly proven to be the most inadequate for usage in the battlefield. Only terrorists who want to kill civilians could possibly make them and use them, against people who are not prepared to get hit by VX or other nerve gases.

Blaming the poisoning on Russia is akin to blaming a shooting with a Smith & Wesson gun in Africa on the United States.
