What do you mean by "legitimized"? He is the ruler of a nation. He will have deliverable nukes in the near future. If recognition is what he wants in exchange for reducing the danger, I say give it a shot. Trump is not going to give away the farm, and the so called experts haven't made any progress in decades. While I agree with the sanctions, the fact is that its the common ppl who suffer the most.

When I first heard about this, I double checked the story.

When I found out it is true, this is not good.

There is something else going on, and ultimately, this does not bode well for the country.

DPRK is not recognized as the legitimate government of Korea.* How does doing a photo-op reduce the danger? Kim will certainly not give up the nukes that made the photo-op possible, so what good can come of the meeting, either for the United States and its allies in the region, or the pod citizens of north Korea?
*ETA: By the United States. Trump has essentially recognized it without consulting Congress or, apparently, his Secretary of State.

Why are the high profile elite democrats complaining about Tillerson removal/replacement?

Rex was out of his depths and turned out to be part of the deep state

Him blaming Russia for the UK nerve agent attack is covering up globalist activity

The nerve agent was taken by the SAS in Syria and used to stop Trump & Putin working together to destroy the NWO

Wow. The revolving door of the Cheeto administration continues to accelerate.

The Orange House is starting to look like one of those neverending clown cars at the circus...

“Comrade Cheeto, your secretary ease no longer friendly to mother Russia. We want him removed. You will comply!”

See this post. How is replacing people who aren't getting the job done a bad thing?

Purely from a business standpoint, removing people that aren't doing a good job is indeed a good thing--no argument there. A good manager coaches up or coaches out, but you can't let it fester. Admittedly, I've had my own doubts about Tillerson in particular. But I have to wonder about what passes for "doing a good" job in Trump's head. I realize it becomes quite subjective in a hurry, but Trump doesn't seem to have much of an issue with all those folks in his cabinet wasting tax payer dollars on lavish vacations, first class plane tix, expensive office furniture, etc. It's kind of hard to "drain the swamp" when your people are simultaneously taking a dump in it.

Because he was one of the few competent appointments. Now he's out.

Tillerson called Trump a moron in public, not to mention his actions contradicting what he has been told to do.

Glad hes gone.

to be accurate, he called him a f**king moron.....if trump was a new hire at Exxon, Tillerson would have fired him the first day

Putin has SOMETHING on Trump. It's the only explanation for the way Trump acts on the matters of Russia. IN MY OPINION.

NOPE

Trump needs Putin, Putin Needs Trump

They're both anti globalist NWO

The NWO want to destroy nationalism and patriotism once they're suppressed they'll turn the western world into a multicultural 3rd world and implement the One World Government

It'll game over for enternity

The end of western civilisation

The beginnings of a new WWIII

Rumour has it that he's the first of many. Kelly and McMasters might be next, and soon.
Oh and in the meantime another of Trump's staffers has left the West Wing. Why? Possible financial crimes.

Not the IRS. Not the SEC. Homeland Security. That is not a typical "financial crime."

If they are complaining, then this is indeed a good thing.

I think Trump is right to remove people who are not doing the job. That is what he is there for and why we voted for him. Draining the swamp means - draining the swamp, even if this includes his own appointees. If he finds out that people he trusted originally are actually part of the swamp, then he needs to do what he needs to do. He should not hold back just because he appointed them.

What ya mean...

He has said there is no collusion from day one and that has been how he has acted. The Senate now says there was no collusion, so how is he suppose to act other than a person who is frustrated about a nothing burger bogging him down from doing action.

If you do not do your job you get fired. He was not doing his job. I don't get it with a lot of you. Prior to Trump a political appointment was a gift. Now, you have to earn it to keep your job. If not, goodbye. How can people not get behind holding politicians accountable.

Tillerson knows what really is happening behind the scenes. I don't agree with some of his opinions but he is a true American. Trump is a traitor and Tillerson knows it!

Recognized by whom? S. Korea obviously recognizes them. China, and Russia recognize them. Lil Kim is a brutal sob, but to say he is not in power of a sovereign nation is just playing a semantic game.

You say no good can come. I disagree. Nobody believes Trump is going to give them pallets of cash, or lift sanctions for nothing.

Oh come off it. Trump is always going to deny it, because his ego is so large that bless him he still thinks that he won the vote and that he did it without anyone's help at all. Trump has to be the best at everything and he'll scream and scream if it ain't so. As for the hollowed-out shell that is the GOP right now, they no longer recognise the word 'hypocrisy'. They spent years screaming about how corrupt Hillary Clinton was and guess what, not one charge filed against her. They spent years screaming how authoritarian Obama was, only to abruptly shut up the moment that Trump started babbling things about how nice it would be to be President for life. The Senate GOP - Russia investigation was always going to find nothing, because it asked effectively nothing.
