Recognized by whom? S. Korea obviously recognizes them. China, and Russia recognize them. Lil Kim is a brutal sob, but to say he is not in power of a sovereign nation is just playing a semantic game.

You say no good can come. I disagree. Nobody believes Trump is going to give them pallets of cash, or lift sanctions for nothing.

Nothing will come of nothing.

Tillerson knows what really is happening behind the scenes. I don't agree with some of his opinions but he is a true American. Trump is a traitor and Tillerson knows it!

Nice baseless accusation you got there. Did CNN tell you to post that?

You weren't really expecting a coherent, fact based response were you?

What was Tillerson doing in Africa? He attended several locations and cancelled a few. Does this have anything to do with his dismissal?

Lots of posts on this I see...

Has anyone brought up that Tillerson has had his own personal war on pot? Even as states change one by one he is still stuck in the 1950s Reefer Madness that smoking pot will make you either gay or a commie. I don't use myself, but about 20% of our prison population is for non-violent pot incidences, and over the years I have become more of a conservative libertarian that people should be able to make their own choices without the Government making everyone a bubble boy for their protection.

I also haven't seen Tillerson do much of anything and he has from week one seemed to not be a part of Trump's team on just about everything.

I was hoping soyou know what.. nah. I felt compelled to point out that kind of seriously flawed view of realism.

The liberalitis got em good. I think it may be terminal.

How is Trump a traitor? Can you point out a few facts on that. I think Tillerson has not been apart of any inner circle and has elected to go on his own on just about everything, so we all saw this coming a long time ago...just surprised it took so long.

If you do not do your job you get fired. He was not doing his job. I don't get it with a lot of you. Prior to Trump a political appointment was a gift. Now, you have to earn it to keep your job. If not, goodbye. How can people not get behind holding politicians accountable.

That is a very, very good point!
I think this is why the career politicians are flipping out. This is new to them. They have no concept of the notion of holding people responsible for actually doing their job. Very few in Congress actually do anything other than grand-standing. Our whole system was built on favors and gifted positions.

Things are different now, and that's good.

Oh come off it. Trump is always going to deny it, because his ego is so large that bless him he still thinks that he won the vote and that he did it without anyone's help at all. Trump has to be the best at everything and he'll scream and scream if it ain't so. As for the hollowed-out shell that is the GOP right now, they no longer recognise the word 'hypocrisy'. They spent years screaming about how corrupt Hillary Clinton was and guess what, not one charge filed against her. They spent years screaming how authoritarian Obama was, only to abruptly shut up the moment that Trump started babbling things about how nice it would be to be President for life. The Senate GOP - Russia investigation was always going to find nothing, because it asked effectively nothing.

It is rich to talk about Trump's ego when we had Obama with the same ego for 8 years, but once again what does any of this have to deal with a collusion that never happened, and now Trump's statements are being vindicated that he has made for well over a year.

On a side note, Russia had zero influence in the election's outcome, so they do what they do ALL THE TIME, and we do what we do ALL THE TIME... nothing new here...

With Obama and Hillary you are right, no charges, but I think you are somewhat extreme to suggest that Trump is guilty with nothing to support it and Obama and Hillary are saints when we have tangible things like Fast and Furious, The dossier, FISA court manipulations, Plutonium deal etc etc...This things are tangible and you seem to just blow them off as less important than Trump's nothing collusion...lol give me a break.

I worked in a department in a large corporation where the manager was pretty much a tyrant. He got in the position because he was a blowhard who convinced upper management he was perfect for running the department. The turnover rate in that department started to be pretty high - either people were quitting, or he was firing someone pretty much every month.

Upper management finally got a clue that this guy didn’t know what the hell he was doing, and he was a jerk to boot. It was very exciting the day the folks from HR escorted him out of the building. Funny, the turnover rate got really low after that, and the department became much more productive.

He does, but he acted honorably and did not allow that to cloud his judgement. That's one reason he got fired. Kelly's on deck.

People don't quit jobs, they quit bosses.

75% of all resignations are people trying to get away from a boss.

Wow. The revolving door of the Cheeto administration continues to accelerate.

The Orange House is starting to look like one of those neverending clown cars at the circus...

“Comrade Cheeto, your secretary ease no longer friendly to mother Russia. We want him removed. You will comply!”

See this post. How is replacing people who aren't getting the job done a bad thing?

Purely from a business standpoint, removing people that aren't doing a good job is indeed a good thing--no argument there. A good manager coaches up or coaches out, but you can't let it fester. Admittedly, I've had my own doubts about Tillerson in particular. But I have to wonder about what passes for "doing a good" job in Trump's head. I realize it becomes quite subjective in a hurry, but Trump doesn't seem to have much of an issue with all those folks in his cabinet wasting tax payer dollars on lavish vacations, first class plane tix, expensive office furniture, etc. It's kind of hard to "drain the swamp" when your people are simultaneously taking a dump in it.

Fair enough.
