OBAMA's DNI - JAMES CLAPPER - Colluded with CNN To Make The Fake Trump Dossier Public.

The depth of how treacherous the Obama administration was, and CNN is, keeps reaching new lows. It's now being learned just HOW the existence of the FAKE Russian-Trump Dossier became public, in early January 2017.

President Obama's Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper, worked with CNN's JAKE TAPPER to leak the Dossier's existence..

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper allegedly leaked information to CNN early last year regarding the classified briefings given to then President-Elect Donald Trump and President Barrack Obama, on the salacious dossier claiming the Russians had compromising information on the president-elect. The evidence of the leak was collected during the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation.

Clapper, spoke to CNN at roughly the same time Jake Tapper broke the first story regarding the briefings conducted by senior intelligence officials with Trump and Obama on the dossier. Tapper’s story, which published in early January 2017, created a snowball effect of allegations in the media that Trump’s campaign had allegedly colluded with the Russians in the 2016 election, and that Russia had compromising material on Trump, sources with knowledge of the investigation concluded.

Clapper, who was one of four senior Obama administration officials to attend the briefing with the presidents, also stated his “profound dismay at the leaks” in an official statement issued in mid-January 2017, and warned that the leaks were “extremely corrosive and damaging” to national security, according to his press release.

So here we have the DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE leaking information to CNN's Jake Tapper, in order to harm President-Elect Trump, before he could be sworn-in as President of the United States.

But it gets even worse, because U.S. Senator John McCain was also in on the plot to force President-elect Trump to resign. McCain was planning on confronting Donald Trump with the Dossier and demanding his resignation.

No wonder its taking the Department of Justice so long to finish its IN-DEPTH investigation into the Obama Administration and those peripheral entities associated with the efforts to hurt Trump while helping Hillary. This is too big for something as "limited" in authority, as an DOJ investigation.

That's not what the article says:

An extensive New Yorker profile cites a former national-security official claiming that a longtime associate of John McCain sent by the Arizona senator to obtain the infamous anti-Trump dossier hatched a plan whereby McCain would use the document to confront President Donald Trump and get him to resign.

David J. Kramer, a former State Department official and close McCain associate, received a copy of the largely-discredited dossier directly from Fusion GPS after McCain expressed interest in the document, the Washington Post previously reported. McCain then reportedly passed the dossier directly to FBI Director James Comey.

At least according to the article, this Kramer guy wanted McCain to do so... but it was Kramer's plan, not McCain's plan. And McCain obviously did not do so. McCain turned it over to the FBI. Which seems to be the appropriate action to me. McCain has been fighting the Russian Boogeyman forever. It doesn't surprise me at all that he would be concerned when someone told him they had evidence of Trump-Russian collusion. But it seems that McCain did the right thing here.

What am I missing? What should McCain have done upon being presented with such "evidence"?

There's plenty to criticize McCain for, but I'm not seeing it here. If anything, it seems more likely that these folks were trying real hard to get McCain involved so that he personally, or through the Republican party, became "responsible" for the dossier... and thus hide the Democrat/Fusion involvement.

Exactly. The truth will come out. So why make stuff up? I'm not so sure McCain is a traitor as much as just one more corrupt critter in DC, but whatever he is, I want it based on real and tangible evidence of his own conscious and deliberate and willful wrongdoing. Just like every other corrupt critter. The spin and the unsubstantiated rumors and anonymous leaks serve no positive purpose and only muddy the waters and distract from the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
