It's not that I'm getting old, it's just that music today sucks.

My daughter has lots of friends that listen to modern music and I gotta say that if any man walked up to a girl on the street and talked like the lyrics in these songs, they would get a knee to the nuts.

She has a wider taste variety fortunately.

I have found myself going back to the 90's for my music lately.
I was inspired by the soundtrack from a tv show.
So much good music then.

Oasis,
Space hog,
Fiona Apple,
Nirvana,

Hendrix... hmmm. Try looking up his song 'My Friend', it's sort of rare and obscure. When you hear it, you will smile in recognition...

These guys are pretty good. I was turned on of them recently by a friend. The singer sounds very much like Robert plant in His early 20s

Golden void

Another throwback to the 70s. This guy, Isaiah Mitchell, might be one of the best guitar players in modern times.

Witchcraft

A Swedish band that has several albums, I recommend delving deeply into their discography.

Graveyard

Another Swedish band with several albums. The singer from this band used to be the guitar player from witchcraft before they got famous. I also recommend delving deeply into their discography.

My high school was the late 80's, 89 grad to be exact.

I hated the music at that time with the guys in the hair bands wearing more makeup than women. Grunge music saved my fricken life,,, or at least my ears.

Nothing yet today, but yesterday I played some symphony of destruction by Megadeath and my toddler just loved it. Guess she loves metal like her dad.
