oh this is definitely not good music by any stretch. it is just super catchy and when my daughter and i are riding we crank this #. we were just dancing to it together.

Poppy is p e r f e c t

For those that want to know a little more beyond the music...

Poppy is essentially a performance art character. Her videos, way more non-music ones than music ones, tell a pretty awesome story about a manufactured pop artist. She's also not the original actress (if that's the righ word) to play the role. Her producer had another lady doing the same style of videos and persona before her but that didn't work out and he's been DMCA'ing whenever she or others try to upload any of the old videos.

Personally, I can't stand the music. And I think that's part of the point. It shouldn't be liked. The producer is so anti-pop and against the entire pop machine that it's kind of a joke. But I do like the symbolism and little jabs at the media machine.

Anyway, I don't normally dig their videos but here's a pretty good rundown of it.

Ah, yes they are. But at least on this one they managed to cover a lot of the story for those unfamiliar with it. There's other decent videos about it all out there but they hit most of it in one go.

I actually watched the first two videos and there's occult symbolism in the graphics and the lyrics, borderline MK Ultra/Monarch type #

The fact that you shot down that poster's conspiracy angle so childishly, I think it's you who likes poppy, not your daughter. I have a daughter and right away saw stuff that reminded me of the PG themed heavy breathing videos.
