Its a interesting question.

I think firstly what has to be said is this; I don't care who Donald sleeps with.

However it does become a issue when who he is sleeping with does damage to his integrity as POTUS, if he were not POTUS this wouldn't really be a issue but because he is then it calls into question his integrity..

Bill was cheating while POTUS. We have nothing saying Donald has cheated while POTUS.

I go on to say.....

I don't think that what Trump is alleged to have done is as bad as bill because bill was caught doing it while POTUS. The accusation comes from a time before Trump was POTUS

I mean please read the entire post before you comment.

Well, when you put yourself in a position of leading people then those people have a right to judge you based on your actions, no? Who wants an immoral leader? Why should I just ignore the fact that he has no family values when he is supposed to represent American values as our leader?

Best not to judge dear leader, we must shame those who do by calling them "judgemental". Ignore that our leader cheated on his pregnant wife with a porn star, it's best that way.

This for me is where it becomes a issue.

I don't care who Bill gates is sleeping with.

But when its the "The Leader of the Free World" then yeah it starts to become a issue. I firmly believe that all presidents have probalby at some point done something immoral, be it cheating on a wife to kicking a puppy. We are all human and at times act out immorally.

Its how we respond to that I think matter.

So rather than holding up his hands and saying "yeah I did it", he lies to save his own skin, pays her off through his lawyer and trashes her publicly.

His actions are not those of a moral character in my view.

The Op has asked if Melania should leave her husband over the revelations that he cheated on her.

To that end the following can be stated:

The question and answer is not for us to say. It is their relationship and their family and ultimately will have to be her decision and not ours. She knew what all she was getting into, she knew he had a long history of infidelity by him. Is it our business about what he did before he became president, no. it is not really our business. Is this shocking or revealing, no, it is not.

So ultimately who cares? If the man is sleeping around as president, then yeah, we should care, but this happened before he was president, so it is not our business, and it is a private matter between Trump, his wife, and Trumps children.

I personally don't care what Trump did in the past, at least not enough to get worked up over it, I just find it extremely hypocritical that the majority of his base claim to cherish family values but give him a pass for cheating on his wife while she was pregnant.

That, in my book, is the lowest a man can go, to cheat on his wife and even lower doing it while she's pregnant and even lower when it's with a porn star. Sure, it's their own business but when you put yourself up on a pedestal then it's expected that you receive flack for your actions.

As of now, Trump denies Stormy Danials' allegations.

I would imagine a cheater would just not make any comment because if they deny it, then the accuser may have a defamation case.

ETA: Unless you would think Trump was innocent of the accusations if he had said nothing about them, at all?

I don't see any reason his lawyer would feel the need to "gift" her money around the time of such allegations coming to light other than to shut her up. Doesn't seem like a very smart move to gift your alleged mistress with money in that situation.

It's pretty amazing that CNN would ask the White House for a comment about Stormy Danials.

I thought the payment, in question, came from "a private, Delaware-based limited-liability company," and it's only alleged that Trump's lawyer arranged it on behalf of Trump.

But Trump says he knows nothing about it. Maybe Trump's lawyer had sex with Stormy Danials.

Maybe she had sex with both of them at the same time, since we're moving the goalposts.

It is new territory in the age where your personal life matters.

Well, we can speculate. But, so far, nothing has been proven and Trump denies it.

If Trump didn't deny it, I'd be inclined to believe her though. But, I still wouldn't care if he paid her to keep quiet. It's better than some former president's methods of keeping his lovers quiet.
