For those who don't think Global warming is a big issue, check this out:

Some people are oblivious to what is happening. They don't realize that these climate changes could be deadly to many of us. What will it take for some to realize that we've got to take care of this planet? Worldwide death? It's not that we need to run around in a panic, but what are we going to do as a planet as a whole to mend the damage?

People won't change until some great disaster strikes. Greed, Pride and Ignorance always rule before a tragedy allows humility and reason to take over. Ulimately Mother Nature will be the final decison maker if we have changed enough.

ATS Threads On Global Warming

Whenever things go poorly in one thread or another, a new thread on Global Warming appears.

It's the ATS equivalent of a leaflet drop.

Since reasoned replies take longer to compose than flimsy claims, flimsy claims win by sheer force of numbers.

And reason gets buried in deception.

Hence the reason why the Global Warming religion marches on, scoffing at skepticism and reasoned debate every step of the way.

Meanwhile, the companies funding the march are licking their choops in anticipation of the money they are going to make from the legislation this produces.

Every generation, the same old thing.

Are you saying global warming isn't a real issue?

Companies would NOT make money in global warming, which is why oil companies keep playing it down. Unfortunately, even oil companies can't deny it exists. I would not recommend you deny it either, Majic. It might come back to haunt you sometime.
