I use to be a coalminer, until the industry dried up because of regulations. I know exactly what regulations can do to a company. They can totally destroy a persons's means to take care of his family. So as far as regulations go, my experience with them is what I will use to determine their worth.

The same happened to big parts of the printing industry after digitalisation changed the whole business. And we don't have loads of coal in the cellar for heating anymore btw, things change.

Why should we keep your backwards leaning industry running for the luls, that's the capitalism you want? Agreed, but we call it socialism and you wont need to worry about any job whatsoever with an UBI. Instead, you'll have the freedom to do the things you love all day long, for the rest of your live.

This world isn't finished with changing yet, ya know.

It's not news as it's over 12 months old. Simple.

Was all over the news in the US and internationally back when it was newsworthy/was announced.

The only reason it's not covered now is it's not news or newsworthy, not because of a conspiracy - same way there's not a new headline every time he inhales or exhales.

Like I said, he goes to Mara larg to golf....he has spent over 100 days there since taking office. Every 3rd time he does that is equivalent to his salary per year.....

So he spends far more on luxury than past presidents.....costing MORE....so go ahead and only see what Trump would want you to.

How can Mar a Lago cost the tax payers a dime when Trump owns it?

I admire your optimism but sadly bud, that isn't how it's going to go down.

I'm referring to actual studies and test phases running in Europe already. At this point I'm pretty much done to argue with politiclowns and bureaucrap about their excuse of a perspective on life and human expression.

Try a seminar and pipe up on reality? The emperor wears no clothes.

Mr Trump, our beloved POTUS,

I see more and more people talking like that in regards to a few people, not just Trump.

Sad to see how easily brainwashed and duped people are. It's worse that anything I witnessed with Obama and his supporters.

You're being sarcastic, right?

Who pays for his trips there and back? For him and his families security details?

What an amazing and strong leader. He actually does the things he says he will do. Greatest man to ever grace the Oval Office IMHO, at least in the last 100-150 years

Thank you Mr. President.

Although nowhere near as impressive or bountiful, I donated almost $6k to the NRA-ILA to fight gun control and work to overturn existing laws.

Bull ...we've all heard about it. Seems you're the one behind in the news department.
I saw it on MSNBC a year ago.

Okay, so I went out and looked for a news story ... because this surprised me.

2017 Vanity Fair - no evidence of Trump following through on promise to donate salary

Article confirms a first and second QUARTERLY donation - the ones we've heard about - Forest service and Education.

And reports that he said he'd donate the third quarter to help opioid crisis

(2017 - conservative leaning source) Trump has kept at least one paycheck

2018 first quarter salary to go to infrastructure

So these donations were announced - we should look at the individual departmental financials to see if they were actually received and what happened to them.

Trump has enriched himself and his family far more than any salary he might earn as President. Perks. Tax cuts. And who knows what else?

I thought you were going to donate your 5K tax return to the NRA.

Now it's "almost" and jumped a thousand bucks?

Sure.

Seriously, the reach is strong with this one. These things take time.

Wait.

So you'd need more time to verify the OP? Sure, why not. I'd donate a salad to that endeavor!

So when people called Obama the Messiah it was ok but a word such as beloved is kissing ass?

The only people I heard call Obama the Messiah was the Right Wing and calling someone "beloved" is a whole lot more than just kissing ass.

The word itself means having much love for someone. If someone has a lot of love for someone they have never had a personal relationship with, especially a damned political figure, something is wrong.

The Previous Presidents run up the national deficit to 20 trillion, but now is the time to complain about how much money the President spends. lol. Maybe it would quieten the left down if Trump would give Iran another 300 billion dollars. I mean talk about idiocracy.

Another factual error - the 300 billion was Iran's frozen assets, it was never ours.

But the $400 million ransom Obama paid for our sailors was ours.

Bull****!
Obama sold us out to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Why people don't understand where our opioid epidemic is coming from is beyond me. Yet daily I hear some uninformed fool still riding the Obama bus.

The difference between an Obama supporter and a Trump supporter is one intends to work to make America better the other intends to take to make their life better.
