Current Veterans Administration head David Shulkin is failing and needs to go.

He apparently is an Obama hold-over and his policies seem to reflect that.

Obama snidely was diminishing the VA on purpose according to many.

Celebrity Michelle Malkin seems to not like the guy either.

A "weak" VA is bad for all vets and bad for people currently serving.

Maybe Obama had some "dreams" ☎

Malkin is calling out Trump for action !! 😀

Give VA Secretary David Shulkin the boot

Will the VA scandal never end?

While the Department of Veterans Affairs secretary lives high on the hog and his lying chief of staff resigns in disgrace while escaping any punishment, legions of vets every day in this country are denied the medical care they earned.

President Trump was supposed to drain the swamp. But at the historically fraud-ridden and profligate VA, the alligators continue feasting on the public dime.

Trump’s VA secretary, David Shulkin, is an Obama holdover. His main agenda is to block any real reforms for veterans, which includes expanding their ability to obtain care from private doctors and hospitals. His daughter, Jennifer, is a Harvard law student and loudmouth Huffington Post contributor who used her Twitter account recently to defend her dad against “right-winged, pro-privatization Trump appointees.”

The VA hasn't worked under government control since day 1.

Can we stop pushing the same button over and over again expecting a different result?

Albert Einstein said that's the definition of insanity.

This vet, who requires care at the VA, says it's the definition of stupidity.

Its the problem with Government run anything. Government is supposed to be the glue, not the glued.

As a vet, I have to agree. There are still ways they can screw you with these waiting lists. For example, with the Choice program, you're supposed to get a referral to a private provider if the VA can't get you an appointment within 30 days. However, there's fine print. It's not within 30 days of when you requested the appointment, it's within 30 days of when they deem you require treatment. And a doctor isn't determining that. So say you call on March 10th requesting an appointment, and they can't get you one until April 15th. That's obviously more than 30 days. However, they can just say you don't require treatment until March 20th, so April 15th is within 30 days of that and you still have to wait and see the VA doctor, over 35 days from when you called to make the appointment.

And we wonder why the top victims of gun violence are vets ending their own lives.

I have a whole lot to say about that, but its not really on topic. the head of the VA. Just don't put another turd in there to run it.
