CNN continues its spiraling downfall as even MSNBC has them beat on ratings.

MSNBC seems to be popular recently, probably because of "people" looking for a CNN alternative and might not want to view Fox.

This is all about Cable stations, not the Big3+1 broadcast networks that actually have millions more viewers especially in News and Primetime shows.

Oh well.

CNN has been called-out hundreds of times for high-impact stories that are either off base enough to bend the real truth, or outright lies.

The whole Media is Politicized it seems 🤓

CNN Ratings Continue To Tank. Check Out These BRUTAL Numbers

The disastrous ratings at CNN continue to trend downward, suggesting that their Trump/Russia conspiracy obsession is falling flat with the general public.

CNN is not only getting crushed by Fox News, which is par for the course, but the network is also taking a beating from MSNBC. Forbes reports, "CNN had significant declines in February, with ratings dropping 19% in total day and 16% in prime, where the network returned an average audience of 979,000 total viewers — behind MSNBC (1.805 million) and Fox News (2.766 million)."

The report adds, "MSNBC has now beaten CNN in prime for 12 consecutive months among viewers 25-54 and 15 consecutive months among all viewers."

Ouch.

Other reasons why CNN is losing credibility includes them blackmailing someone for making fun of them and praising North Korea, which is in many ways a modern Nazi Germany (They have a belief Koreans are the master race).

Can't even hit an average of 1 million. Thats really bad. I wonder how many of the 979,000 actually watch it for the news.

I heard today that CNN has received "orders" to not just insult the President, but to have President Trump removed from office. If there is news that's positive for Trump..DO NOT report it.

CNN started today, by examining how the President can be removed from office due to a porn star fling. The dwindling number of snowflakes who believe most of what they see on CNN, is the network's only leverage.

This will be the last Trump praise you'll see on CNN for awhile...

CNN’s “New Day” host Chris Cuomo, an outspoken Trump detractor known for combative interviews with White House surrogates, complimented the president on Tuesday.

“Congratulations to the Trump administration, they were able to move the ball here. Maybe North Korea's not telling the truth, maybe they won’t really do this. But even the suggestion, even the potential offer, is progress,” Cuomo said.

CNN political analyst David Gregory agreed, calling it “potentially historic” and “quite significant.”

However frighteningly enough...MSNBC via Rachel "Holy Christ" Maddow just won the ratings race...sooo honestly imo, this is horrible to hellish in regards where the left is taking their sentiment.

But they got that billionaire Tom Steyer regularly buying millions of dollars worth of airtime for commercials bashing Trump, as long as he's happy and writing big checks to CNN they really don't need to worry about ratings, do they?

Wait until CNN gets wind of this!

Attorney General JEFF SESSIONS has already appointed a Special Prosecutor.

The real question is how many of those 'viewers' are the multiple tv's tuned to CNN in airport lounges.

Ha, you're almost as wrong as the OP.

He has not appointed a "special prosecutor" - he says he appointed someone in his department to look into the stuff the Repubs in congress asked. In other words, he told an employee to look at it. Congrats. Whoa, that's a big deal, especially considering that Sessions DOJ has already said there was no irregularity or issue with anything in the FISA process. So, he says he has someone look into it, and all you people sit back on your Q threads and plan on Obama being arrested. Great!

As for how wrong the OP is?

Well, Fox does lead in the ratings, always will because conservatives watch more TV. What the OP doesn't say, and what is absolutely critical IF one is going to take underlying meaning from it (and most of the above are), then it is well worth actually getting at the truth, or at least it is for people that like to live in reality, which I admit many Fox viewers do not. www.bizjournals.com...

MSNBC was the only news network to show year-over-year growth, Deadline reports. Ratings rose 21 percent in prime-time total viewers and 23 percent in all day viewers.

Despite being down year to year, CNN had the second-best February in 10 years, with an average of 700,000 viewers all day, and besting MSNBC in the 25-54 demo in all-day viewing and in several programs, including Erin Burnett's "Outfront. Her show edged out "Hardball with Chris Matthews" in the 25-54 demo.

So, all TV growth is down except for MSNBC, and despite having a down trend, CNN had its best February in 10 years. That paints a much different coat for reality-based people.

It's not surprising at all that MSNBC was the only network showing growth. Fox used to be miles ahead, and yet many times last year Maddow beat Hannity in that time slot, despite the fact that Hannity is geared solely toward white men who are 65 years old, IOW people who watch TV.

Oh, and in case you all think that Trump is somehow supported, his overall approval ratings matched his lowest ever in Feb. he's never been lower. thehill.com... And even 538's track of all polls show 54% DISAPPROVAL with 40% approval: thehill.com...

But, do carry on in fantasy land.

I thought CNN was getting out of the news business? At least they were until trump came along. They were going to be more about documentaries.

It could be someone who spent years in the Dept of Justice previously, just like Bob Mueller did. Gotta keep an open mind until further confirmation (one way or the other) comes along.

He said he appointed someone outside of Washington with many years in the DOJ. To me that sounds like a former employee rather than a current one.
