They are carrying past losses on their federal taxes.

Like Trump did/has.

Because they know more about taxes than anybody.

Except Trump, of course.

What? Trump doesn't know that much about taxes.

He lied? Again?

"I understand the tax laws better than almost anyone, which is why I'm the one who can truly fix them," Donald Trump claimed Monday in Colorado.

Maybe I was wrong. Since the new Tax Cuts were his idea, Trump might be tax-savvy after all. But most likely, it's economics savvy.

No. You don't give yourself enough credit. You were right.

But most likely, it's economics savvy.
So, he was expecting the drop in the markets when he announced the tariffs?

So they are not a viable business in the traditional sense...as in being profitable without free government money.

As long as its clear that this is what their covered losses mean.

They had some rough years.
Like Trump.

They are now quite profitable.
Like Trump claims to be.

Unlike Trump, their financials are public record.

Georgia punishing the employees of Delta because Delta pulled support from the NRA is callous and dumb.

The only thing Georgia did was stop tax cuts on a mega-rich corporation.

Democrats should be celebrating, this is exactly what you guys voted for.

Well, if it was Lois Lerner doing it, the leftists would be supporting it.

Delta was preferred airline for flying around the US after touching down in LAX coming from China.

Not I'm so sure anymore.

I don't want to fly American and have to fight with staff or United who will challenge my carry size and discriminate against me for being white.

I hope the shareholders sue Delta and their CEO for damaging corporate profits in the name of a political stance. I read on Zerohedge that they would have a solid case for doing so.

Delta airlines management = idiots.

They should have kept silent and moved along.

Yeah, they can move to Chicago where gun control works so well.

Delta spends over a million dollars in political donations yearly.

Non-political my ass.

That subsidy is (was) other things as well:

A) pocket change for Delta
B) ridiculous corporate welfare

Also, "gun control" in Chicago is.long gone, and had nothing to do with the block by block gang wars in the ghetto which kicked off after the breakup/takeout of the big gangs/bosses.

You're aware that American never gave benefits to the NRA like Delta used to, right?

You're aware that United also ceased giving benefits to the NRA as well, right?

Looks like the Street is ambivalent towards this, DAL is up slightly with 45 minutes to trade.
