HIV used to attack Cancer!!!!

I came across this very fascinating story the other day and figured I would share. I orginally saw the link to the story on slashdot, but I subscibe to Wired and I bet it will be in the next issue.

No, no, not just HIV. An disabled form of the version. Disabled as in not causing harm.

There have been rumor that HIV does not directly causes AIDS...

Another rumor is that our body does create Anti-HIV once infected with the retro-virus, which is HIV...

Those scientist may have trap themselves without knowing...

This is totally awesome if they pull it off. I'd trade a dormant version of HIV than to have cancer!

same here. 80% removed eh? this reminds me of when they tried to use yeast cells to attack cancer...i wonder what happened to that idea
