My son got his 4WD stuck in a snow-filled lane. Went back to it yesterday afternoon, only the roof rails showing above the snow. Friendly local farmer dug it out with a tractor.

You are just not used to it, my countrymen who have been in UK lately said the weather is not that bad just like average spring time in Finland. The problem is that UK do not have sufficient way of heating apartments the hot waterbottle in the bed is not enough.

This week in here we have had -30 and there are even colder places like in canada -50 .. So i think weather is just fine

Blimey a bit of snow and the whole country stops.....
When I was a kid this was the norm ever year for at least a month.
My work has been unbelievable people ringing in saying they can not get in when they live a mile away.
I walked 3 miles to work and 3 miles back each day the buses were not running.
I love the snow I love snowball fights I love sledging and building snowmen.
I sang to a Robin red breast in my garden today stood about a foot away singing and he sang back it was awesome enhanced by the snow
.

Yes, it is a bit of a joke. But it's traditional in the UK to over-react to a bit of snow, or wind, or (yes) when it's too sunny. In truth, we are only comfortable when it's cloudy and a bit damp.
