I'm from NYC, but I'll actually be away this weekend. I can recommend plenty of spots though.

I lived in NY from 88 to 95. Once I was at South Street Seaport at an open air restaurant having dinner......more it was, I was trying to get laid. Low & behold our waiter was a damn boy I went to high school with. We went to school in N.Carolina. Not friends per-say, just knew each other thru school....I thought what are the damn odds. I asked him what brought him to NY, he said I came here to become a country music singer/songwriter........I ended up buying him a map with Nashville circled. Needless to say, I did not get laid that particular night. I've been gone from there a long time, but South Street Seaport is still there and it's a great place to visit in the city.
