Quick moving lights appeared over Milwaukee Tuesday morning and were captured live on TV from FOX6. Any ideas?

Someone tell me these are just bugs, okay? I didn't get a chance to watch the news this morning (never do) but this came across my newsfeed anyways. And wouldn't you know, it's local!

This is a weird ones, folks!

Very cool, thanks for sharing!!

Could be a hologram/projection, it looks pretty foggy above the city.

It does seem like a flock of birds, but I can only assume it's some sort of shadow trick with the rising eastern sun from across Lake Michigan.

The anomalies resemble water droplets on glass imo, could it be water on camera lens/glass cover?

That report was from July 2017 and the movements in that video isn't remotely similar to the one on the OP...

I live close and I absolutely believe these are birds. We are having very spring like weather and I've seen so many flocks of birds the last few days.

Birds with trails?
You can see cars driving through the city without trails so why would lit birds a thousand feet in the air have them.

Given this is a news station feed with the anchors actively commenting, this just feels strange.

The light intensity compared to car lights is odd also..

Strange stuff for now..

I’m diggin the Childish Gambino song in the background. Who knew Milwaukee was hip.

But ya, if it is not a camera lens , optics issue and those ( what ever those are) are actual things in the sky, then I have no idea.

After seeing a time lapse of the movements, I believe they are birds now also

Something has been done to that video to GREATLY enhance the brightness of the city. I've stayed in downtown Milwaukee hotels, on the upper floors. Looking southwest is nowhere near as bright as you see in that video.

I think that video enhancement is either causing some kind of imaging anomaly, or flying birds are able to be seen, which normally would not be seen, without the video lux sensitivity being set so high.

At 4:45am is about the time birds become active. Also, at 39-degrees it was relatively warm for a late February Milwaukee night.

Sooo... Looks like the same lights from the other video shared here in ATS.

People were saying it was the cars' headlights reflecting on the window.

Now birds?

Someone on another forum said it looks like a fish tank full of tetras being reflected off of a glass window. Looks more like that than birds in my opinion. I'm not 100% sold on that explanation either though.

We have bugs here. Being February doesn't slow down some species.

However... them's some mighty BIG bugs.
