Anyone that knows me,knows i love cars and i was wondering what you girls and guys drive?

my present daily drive is a 2.3 20 valve audi quattro..its a wolf in sheeps and although its a bit old,im loathed to sell it...it still kicks ass off the lights and i think its quite cool looking in a retro kinda way.

but my absolute baby, munchkin, honey bunny, love of my life is my 400bhp Dax Cobra...i restored it myself and its been a labour of love but well worth it....apart from the shockingly bad fuel compsumption and its ability to destroy tyres at a quicker rate than they make them!! it makes anyone who goes in it grin like a loony..(including me!!...every time).........sadly its as practical as a fart in a space suit so its going after summer.....and being traded in for a 348 Ferrari....(only slightly more practical because it has a roof)

what do you people drive and what would be your dream car/bike/truck etc?

mine would be a 250 GTO scagletti Ferrari........(dribble,dribble,drool......passes out with shear beauty of this awesome piece of auto porn)

Don't have a pic online, but I drive a black 2000 Toyota Camry XLE. Unfortunately, it's illegal right now since I can't afford to get the traction control fixed and can't pass my emmissions test until I do

1992 Nissan Sentra SER

The picture isint of my exact car, but the only real difference is some dents, virginia plates and the factory alloy wheels. The car gets absolutely great gas mileage, but the engine has developed a nasty peck lately that probably indicates its on the way out

As for a dream car, thats such a tough one. Since I've had such great luck with Nissaan cars I'd probably opt for the 2005 SER Spec V Last couple of years have made practacality take over, if you had asked me in HS what I wanted for a dream car a 1970 SS Chevelle would have been the answer beyond a shaodw of a doubt.

I'm in the process of getting this 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT into shape. Mechanically it is very sound, but the body & paint need some work after 20 years outside. I'm having a hard time deciding between stock black again or British racing green. Decisions decisions

Man oh man Optimus....
....You've got, and soon shall have, some sweet rides....I can't believe the market on older model used Ferrari's - I never thought that one day I'd actually be capable of buying one, but it seems that way now....

I actually started a thread like this a while back... www.belowtopsecret.com... ...But it's all gravy - These threads often get lost in the reservoirs of BTS history sometimes
Worth a peak though, if you're interested....

I currently choose to receive my speeding tickets in a Chili Pepper Red '98 Jeep Classic 4x4 4.0L.....

I love her, but she treats me like her bitch sometimes

Now - There's all sorts of cars I'd love to have - hehe....I too am a car connoisseur, but I just don't have the funding for additional cars or major upgrades....A nice deck, a box full of subs, and a big amp is about all I can afford to pump into my baby...

But a buddy of mine worked for this super rich guy who had a nice little collection going - Part of his job was to keep the cars active and drive them around town, so I'd partake fairly often.....

He had V12 Jaguar E-Type...

A '64 convertible Vette...

A BMW 745i....Talk about a FUN car to drive and pimp around town in....

And a good 'ol Z71 Suburban...

As far as what I want in the future....I've sort of changed my mind on my practical cars....

For practical dreaming, I really like the Crossfire...

Of course, the 2005 Corvette's are a treat for the eyes and heavy-footed...

And the Infiniti G35 coupe...

For some reason, I always seem to think of new cars, but there are plenty of affordable classics I adore that I'd love to have as well....

As for dreaming of cars I'll never have?

2004 Ferrari 360 Modena

2004 Maybach 62

And among hundreds and hundreds of others...A car I actually saw driving down the road the other day and almost wrecked b/c I was staring at it's ornate beauty for far too long...

The Lotus Elise

Man…That was a long answer…lol – I hope all those image links don’t screw up over time…Sorry for hogging the thread

Edit: Holy schnikes! I looked at the price on that Lotus - $43,000!!! Granted, it only has a 1.8-liter 190 HP engine, but with upgrades, that car would be bangin' for the price!! Move that one on up to my practical list....A sunday driver...hehe

I think not, the only sheep ive seen that looks like the godly bliss that a quattro is, are the type that walk around fields outside of nuclear power plants with devil horns, barking at the moon and looking like monsters...

It appears that the links I posted earlier worked for about 2 minutes then gave up.

Anyway, here it is:
    .

Not long after the photos were taken, I threw it down the road. After a long wait and some work, in just a few weeks (only waiting on parts now) it should be back on the road.

In the accident the bike pirouetted upside down and managed to do... a healthy amount of damage to the both of us. My friend has come through tops for me again though and when it is all together I'll post some more pictures to show you how perfect his work is.

Sorry to hear that Jak, but at lest it's going back together, I have always said you have never ridden a bike until you have come off a bike. I've lost count how many times I have crashed pushing the envelope as they say The first time mine slid out from under me it was just ABS plastic damage and a tag of $2700.00 Cnd for cosmetics. LOL and some new V rated tires.
