You go girl!! 36-0!!

Euless Trinity (Texas) transgender wrestler Mack Beggs won his second straight state title Saturday evening to a chorus of boos.

Beggs (36-0), who won last year's Class 6A girls championship in the 110-pound division, won by decision 15-3 against Chelsea Sanchez of Katy Morton Ranch.

Yay for idiocracy!

Thread title should be changed to: "Man Doesn't Read Article Properly; Reacts Emotionally Anyway"

All the people who usually go "you are your genitals and should stick to that group" suddenly don't like the result! Classic ATS

This is a story about a girl on steroids competing professionally against other girls, and dominating in her field.

I think the rules are pretty clear that if you are on steroids, you cannot compete.

Mmm that wasn't the complaint though was it? "He's still genetically a male beating up on females" and all that. Only when proven wrong do people switch to the next problem because lord forbid they admit they were wrong.

Next Christmas, I'm sending a whole lot of ATS members little wheels as stocking stuffers, for their goal posts. It's getting sad watching them drag them around in every thread.

This person started as a girl. She is transitioning to a girl with a penis. She is taking steroids to help her do this. Texas won’t let her fight boys. Texas only lets her fight other girls. This is a girl on steroids, fighting girls who aren’t on steroids. Steroids are not permitted in sports.

Except when boys do the reverse, they get to compete against females, and it gets celebrated all the time.

Technically, they still got the benefits of doping.

See the Brazilian volleyball star Tiffany Abreu.

If testosterone is illegal, then no man can compete in sports. If testosterone is okay, then this trans male isn’t doing anything wrong, and should compete against other humans who have the same level of testosterone in their bodies.

Really?

Testosterone supplements are the issue here. Not naturally produced testosterone. Testosterone supplements are steroids. Steroids aren’t allowed in competition.

By your measure, a man with lower testosterone than his opponent should be allowed to supplement?

I mean, by these definitions, a girl is just a guy with low testosterone?

Your post is so far away from the actual issue.

I can't wait to watch the 21xx Olympic games where all male athletes are former females and all female athletes are former males!

We know that males have naturally produced testosterone. There is a range of testosterone levels that are normal in males. Males who compete in sports shouldn’t be allowed to enhance their testosterone levels greater than this range.

A trans male doesn’t have the advantage of naturally produced testosterone, so they should be allowed to have enough externally provided testosterone to put them into the normal range.

As long as this trans male has testosterone in the normal range for a male, he should be able to compete - with other males.

You're wrong. There are plenty of testosterone products out there with a warning label that you will fail a sports test if it's in your system. Actually any testosterone product that works as it's intended will fail a sports drug test.

DING DING! Therefore they can't compete. There should never be an exception made when it comes to competitions. You're basically saying that a Ford Focus should be allowed to have a twin turbo and a super charger in a Nascar race.

She is not a male. She will never be a male. No matter what she puts in her body.

Women do produce small amounts of testosterone. Just not enough to accomplish the muscle mass expected to compete against the avg male.

If a male with lower than average testosterone, uses supplements, can he compete against other males?

I realize that. I am saying that there should be a medical exemption for trans males who are merely putting enough testosterone in their bodies to satisfy the normal range of testosterone in males — and that those trans males should be able to compete with other males.

You are talking about females on steroids, competing against males. This is not a female becoming a male.

Could you please provide a good reason why this should be acceptable?
