Humanity will never transcend beyond all this mess until the return of the Lord.

We don't have it in us as a species. All we are without Christ is a more capable monkey - not from an evolution perspective, and monkeys are pretty barbaric.

Religion too has failed - time and time again Man finds himself maybe only slightly better off because religions

1. Is the species Man caplable of transcending his past history?

Not without evolution. This is a much broader topic than murder however.

2. Can he accept that a civilized species does not require to be at endless war with its own kind?

Not while greed is rewarded and hedonism in varying facets is promoted by cultures.

3. Can Man accept the end of hell?

Most do. In fact most try to follow noble principals and actions. Some "want to watch the world burn," if I could quote a famous film.

There is no such thing as time. Only party time.

Lets get it.

One has to consider the time frame in which changes take place.
I would argue that the world is changing and changing fast.
Eventhough it might not feel like it, there has never been a period in human history where changes occured faster than they are now. I would even go as far as to claim that we are at risk of losing what little overview have of the cause and effect of all the changes happening at this moment.

- They [astrophysicists] have found the universe is expanding faster than at first calculated and the universe will end
faster than at first thought [still billions of years]
- So why not assume the worse and assume the speed of expansion will increase exponentially and the
world will end in a few years?

Negative thinking is a self perpetuating phenomena - There is no limit to negative worse case scenarios.

Hasn't history shown Man has explored, played out, and incorporated this negativity throughout his History?

Changing the world is simple.

Live the way you think people should live. If you do that and stick to it, and it's a good thing ... why then, you have changed the world.

If everyone did that and since most people who complain often complain the world is not nice enough with compassionate enough people, then I suspect we would have a better world.

Of course, most people forget to take care of themselves and get too concerned with trying to make everyone else be who they think they ought to be, and that's where the trouble starts.
