The Democratic memo is damage control and nothing more. Very poor damage control at that.

What did you expect another Nunes style Memo from the DNC making wild claims and not backing them up? Hell this memo even has footnotes to sources of the information.

Well that is what happens when you annex neighboring countries territory and launch a massive cyber-warfare campaign.

They could just release the transcript of McCabes testimony, which would be final arbiter of either theory.

But somehow I doubt that will happen.

Anyone else remember how this wasn't going to be released because Trump and the Republicans were "hiding something"?

Another narrative busted.

They redacted anything that would have been revealing.

The FBI requested the redactions, not the White House.

Schiff CONSULTED with the FBI and DOJ before his committee voted to APPROVE the release and it was SENT to the White House...where it was SENT BACK with "edits".

So it appears the Republicans LIED:

The GOP memo deliberately lied about Steele being paid.

and again it left out the source of the dossier IE who paid for it / requested it. FBI misrepresented the dossier to the courts by omitting relevant information. Also as I said they also violated the woods protocol. The FBI authorized payments but then fired Steele when he lied about media shopping. The FBI did pay for some of his travel expenses.

Ya but any script kiddie inst hacking the US Government/State Governments/Political institutions then pushing that info to a "neutral" third party for release or using said information for a massive campaign using analytics to target specific people with disinformation.

You might want to read Page 5 and 6 of the new memo in the section Titled DOJ transparency about Chistopher Steele

Wow you really will do anything to try to slide the discussion away from the topic if it hurts Trump.

Back on topic please.

Yup read it... Like Democrats you are also intentionally misleading people on this point. Saying it was provided by political sources is a lie.

Nowhere in the application did it ever disclose who funded the dossier nor did they ever disclose it was opposition research for the Clinton campaign.

This is not a hard concept to understand. They lied to the court by omitting that information. They also failed to disclose to the courts in their applications that Steele had been fired by the FBI for leaking dossier info to the media. Instead they continued to misrepresent Steel and his position by using his previous work for the FBI while hiding the reason they fired him.

Nope.

Shahid Imran Awan[1] (born 1980) is a Pakistani-American information technology worker. He worked as a shared employee for Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives. At the time of his arrest in July 2017, he had been working as an information technologist in Congress for 13 years.

Yeah it's interesting how early in the memo they complain about how the Republican memo contained sources and methods, which is clearly false because we read the entire thing, but in this one there's clearly instances where agents and asset names had to be redacted.

Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz from Florida, however, continued to employ Awan in an advisory role.[8][7][10]

The Russia > NRA > GOP money trail report really got people's underwear in knots. If you LOOK at the timeline, this is about when the ENTIRE GOP/Republican party went nuts...Nune's memo, attacks on the FBI go into OVERDRIVE, Hannity goes "ballistic" and ALL talking points begin to align.

MAKES SENSE:

This is challenging entire FAMILIES and is deeply personal for A LOT of folks. I mean...would YOU want to believe you and your family were conned by Russia?

This ENTIRE thing is personal and embarrassing.

I'm not surprised at all to see the GASLIGHTING, downplaying, ad-homs, deflection ect from the right-wing. It's EGO man...this is a yuge hit to the conservative ego.
