The mob is my prime suspect.

JFK was not a big fan of the mob, and vice versa. Did they hire Oswald thinking he would get away with it, and went things went south did they send Jack Ruby to 'trap the rat' (jack was allegedly a mob hitman) so Oswald wouldn't squeal? looking at the shooting of Oswald it looks like a Mob hit, Ruby used a .38 which was one of the mafia's favorite toys.

But the question is was this purely a mob hit or did the orders come from someone else?

Don't confuse "Mob" with " Mafia."
They are two different gangs.
One Irish and one Italian.
The best I've dug up is CIA and the Fed hired a team of French assassins to do the job.
Cuba could well have some dirt on their hands.
The whole "lone nut" theory that was forced through the media is a bunch of bull-pucky.,

The 'official story' of JFK's assassination has never satisfied me. There's a lot of speculation about who really killed him, and why.

What do you think are the best theories? Why was he killed? Who killed him? Who stood to gain the most from his death?

The fact that after the 50 years the government refuses to release a unredacted report of who actually killed JFK points directly to the CIA-who hated him and his brother Robert-who conspired with the MOB as well as Cuba.

No doubt many American politicians wanted him gone as he was shaking things up. Just who? Who knows-so much dirt on all of them. Does seem like his bro Robert probably did know and they bumped him off eventually too.

We Americans deserve to know the truth even if those politicians and government officials, both domestic and abroad, are still living. I am sure that's why wanted 50 years to share the real story-hence the dirty dogs are still alive and protecting one another.

Trump's decision not to release the file points directly to those that are still living and he knows there will be a huge revolt in this country if released. The CIA and FBI and already imploding and this truth would completely destroy their "legacy" and even their association. Trump's trying to keep these dirty government from the American people unless this country would be vulnerable during a time of complete breakdown and strife.

God, I am so disappointed in Trump and this government. Really, dirty stuff.

I am inclined to agree with the conclusions in the book, "Fatal Error" by Donahue and McLaren published in 1992. These two authors, the first a gunsmith and the latter a detective, concluded that the first two shots came from Oswald, with one of his shots hitting JFK in the back of the neck. The third and fatal head shot came from secret service agent, George Hickey, in the car directly behind the presidential limousine. The authors purported that Hickey accidentally discharged his AR 15 hitting JFK in the back of the head when the car he was in lurched forward in response the presidential limousine speeding up after the first two shots from Oswald.

I will assume there was a coverup to divert attention away from a very embarrassing situation for the Secret Service.

An article about the pros and cons of the Secret Service kill shot

I also agree with the conclusions in the "Fatal Error" book by Donahue and Mclaren. Everything fits, people at street level hearing a loud shot from nearby, smelling gunpowder smoke, the trajectory of the bullet, bullet fragments in the brain. It all points to an accidental discharge of the M16 in the Secret Service chase car. This is what was covered up by the government, a tragic accident - not some grand conspiracy.

What are the chances of a secret service man accidentally shooting JFK in the head just because the cars sped up?

Besides in the Zapruda footage you can clearly see the trajectory of the fatal shot comes from the front and slightly to the right. Why else does JFKs head and body get blown back from the impact and not forwards? As would be the case if the bullet came from behind.

If there is any truth to the story that the mob partly helped Kennedy win the election, it would make sense that the intensified crackdown on organized crime by Robert Kennedy did him no favours.
Together with the help of certain elements within the government that were not happy with what Kennedy was doing, made for a perfect storm leading to his termination.

Not only that, when Castro seized power the mob lost their hotels and casinos located in Cuba. The bay of pigs invasion was drafted to "remove Castro" however the mob would also benefit from it as they would be able to open shop back up in Cuba. The invasion of Cuba was actually drafted / authorized by Eisenhower. Kennedy canceled air support at the last minute, resulting in the fiasco.

A lot of different entities would benefit from his death. The adage the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

If you've studied this for awhile, and apparently many of you have - You realize there is no one conspiracy that fits all
possible scenarios for the assassination.

Two books I read, One on Carlos Marcello, the New Orleans crime boss who swore revenge against the Kennedys and another called 'Mob Lawyer' on Jimmy Hoffa, make a compelling case for direct Mob involvement in the assassination.

And don't forget Jack Ruby was intimately involved with the Mob - Obviously he didn't shoot Oswald out of love for the
Kennedys like he said.

In final analysis I've reached the hypothesis that on the day of the shooting it is very possible that more than one group,
and probably working independently were out there - That would explain the extra shots heard by many.

Still it passes as a perfect crime - No one except that businessman [Clay Shaw?] who was indicted, and then acquitted
has come close to being proven as complicite in any of the many conspiracies - some of which are 'probably' true.

This.

But the CIA didn’t administer T&C-25 to Kennedy. He did it on his own (not quite, the chick he was sleeping with dosed him. And he liked it!)

I now think it might have been the Secret Space Program that got him killed. But need to investigate.

Oh, who’s at the door...

Bupkiss....the final shot came from the sewer to the low right front quadrant of the Limosine....lol..I do not doubt a SS agent also shot at him from the car behind claiming it was an accident....but there were so many shooters/groups/cells it was like a State Fair Carnival shootdown.

It certainly is a fascinating but also sad conspiracy to research. Not only did America lose thier president, but His family lost a husband and a father.
I've heard so many wild and amazing theories over the years, it boggles the mind.

I have always believed Oswald was a patsy. The final shot coming from somewhere else. I heard that Oswald was at a drinks machine many floors down from where the shots were fired from when the poice found him.
Like I said, we'll never really know the turth as to what happened. If it was a lone gunman, we would have had all the files released by now. Seeing as they are still being kept away from public eyes, it shows something sinister was going on.

Something as sinister as certain elements within the CIA colluding with the mafia is sure to never be made public.

I also think that this is the best conclusion to such a tragic incident, now whether Oswald was working alone or was part of a conspiracy is another matter entirely.

These things all also point to a curb level sewer shooter at the foot of the stairs to the Limos front right lower quadrant.
