Since it's common knowledge that CNN peddles in fake news, yet continues to be permitted to hold a broadcast licence, it's clear that they have complete deep-state backing, they've been doing this through multiple Administrations right back to their inception.

As much as I can't stand Jones' general demeanour and conduct, he and his team nevertheless continue to be rather on-point when it comes to shining a spotlight on CNNs shenanigans.

If CNN thinks that by shutting down a popular YT channel they will fix things regarding their reputation for public mistrust, they are gravely mistaken - again.

I'm so thankful Google can decide for me what's right and what wrong. All praise Google!

I too am not an Info Wars fan, but I am surprised that they are being so aggressive with his site.

I have seen some disgusting and unbelievable things on You Tube, some of it has been around for years. If they haven't removed that garbage, it is troublesome that they would be shutting down Alex Jones.

Unless it is agenda driven, then no surprise.

I don't understand this mentality of "I don't like what he said so no one else should be able to hear it"

I guarantee more people will listen now.

Unless the conspiracy is that Google is secretly right wing and is trying to promote ultra liberal values so everyone can see how dumb they are.

So not an Alex Jones fan. But I can easily turn him off, ignore his videos, etc...

Given some of the utter garbage on you tube, this smells really bad.

But... All hail Google/You tube for protecting us from...whatever it is they're protecting us from.

Google and youtube are a corporation, a private business. They have every right to run their business any way they see fit.

You want a say in how Google operates...buy some stock. It's business, capitalism...Would you rather have a state run media?

imo...twitter should kick Trump off for spreading lies.

Of course they can.

It's their company, after all. However...it ain't right. Assuming, of course, it even happens. Why needlessly piss off folks who consume your product?? Unless there's an ulterior motive?

On second thought, I'm glad Facebook, Google and YouTube are doing this. Eventually, the damage they do will invite demands for regulation from even you.

I suppose if we will ever maintain a free society, some of you will have to learn the hard way how that's actually done.

I hear you but that in some ways is a very Scary thought and history says most won't do anything. It reminds me of dietrich bonhoeffe which i will re-interpret here:

"First they came for Info wars and people did nothing because he's to much of a conspiracy monger. But I didn't believe his videos so I did not speak out.

Then they came for Breitbart and because the MSM says they are supremacists and I am not one so I did not speak out.

Then they came for Rush because he's so radical against the left and I'm not against the left so I didn't speak out.

Then they came for Drudge and I did speak out because I don't use his site.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out."

Then become a share holder and give em hell for not living up to your corporate standards and ethics.

fyi, I bought shares in google as a start up....the BOD has their own way of doing things, but i'm sure your MOD status will impress them.

They have every right to run their business any way they see fit.

Only if ran fairly. Being a private company does not allow for policies that discriminate.

If you are speaking of those sites who push porn/kiddie porn with multiple complaints and no action, well then it is all about free speech. Speak against the official state program is a different agenda. Conservative media could possible hurt/influence their profit centers.

Every time they do something like this though, I feel like the opposite is happening. Every push for censorship drives more people away.

I guess you could compare it to the "silent majority" argument everyone was debating before the election.

More people are waking up.

Yeah, well I own a retail business and if I don't like the way you comb your hair, you can GTFO and don't come back.
So sue me!! Discrimination....

It's a new energy of some sort that's been introduced into the equation 1-2 years ago. The agenda and "deep state" as it is now coined has never been as obvious as it is now. Even a few years ago they far more credible and what they were doing was working. Now it's blatant, almost desperate.

I am a share holder. Not much, I'll grant you, I doubt I register as even a blip...

I've expressed my displeasure on a number of occasions in the past, and will, again. I'm also allowed to criticize elsewhere, as well.
