instant gratification!?

I completely agree with Simon Simek's points and have read all of his books.

I have issues with many millennials that we hire and bring in to China to teach. Everything in Simon's video describes them to a T. I especially dislike when they apply for promotions without doing any of the checklists or trainings required by our company and then say "but I'm a great teacher everyone likes me". That doesn't show me you can manage or lead people and deal with having difficult conversations. Meanwhile our local staff get through their checklists and go to trainings then show up to interviews having asking others for guidance and help, then get the positions and continue to move up in the company.

China is starting to have similar problems especially with young men due to 1 Child Policy and lack of proper socialization + social media on top of that.
