No Mandela Effect This time
May he rest in peace:

Billy Graham, ‘America’s pastor,’ dead at age 99

My Dad's fraternity brother was Rev. Graham's doctor. I confirmed a couple of years ago with him, as per his occasional golfing buddy, that the good pastor was still alive. I'm sure the good lord is happy to have him back.

Don't worry. Soylent Graham is in the works.

Televangelist off the air for good.

Good riddance, one of the mass mind manipulators from the last century, misguided so many souls.

imo

Haven't been on ATS much in a while but I had to come running over when I saw this on the news. This is like the third time he has died for me. I was just talking to my wife about this two nights ago when some ME stuff came up.

Disagree. Amongst big-time televangelists, in a certain era he was about the only decent one it seems. Anyway Graham was popular presence in a certain branch of my family, which was always kind to me, in spite of my being the apostate freak.

Oh my god...they are made of Jesus!

The dude was ancient when I was a kid, if he is still alive he must be feasting on Soylent Graham, or as in my part of the world like to call it 'Substance J.'

I politely disagree. He had his heart in the right place and was not a prosperity preacher like the scum we see today.
Looking at you Joel O'Stealin !
The guy lived a good life and passed along a message of hope and doing right. But!, go ahead and call him names on his death day.

Ain't it bleak when you got so much nothin'

Eat that pork Eat that ham
Laugh till ya choke On Billy Graham Moses, Aaron 'n Abraham...
They're all a waste of time 'N it's yer ass that's on the line

I saw Bill Graham's funeral on TV.

I was eating lunch in a diner around noon, by myself, and watched the funeral live on FOX NEWS.

and it was Billy Graham. Not a relative.

he died about 10-12 years ago.

My opinion of Billy Graham will be one of an Apostle, doing the Lords work until the end, “Hallelujah”

Also disagree, not much on religion myself but always found Dr. Graham respectful of everyone and perhaps his best skill was just listening to others, a skill lost to many of us today.

Never saw him attempt to sell prayer rags or special holy water. The message he preached was never about him or his organization. Never heard him selling buckets of survival food or building theme parks so amongst evangelists he was one above the rest

I bookmarked this page and saved it in a few places as this is the 2nd or 3rd time he's died from my perspective.

Well, at least now he knows that his life's work was for nothing. I wonder what went through his head just as it all went black instead of a tunnel leading to "Pearly Gates"?
