Our security service ( MI5 ) must be crap.

According to another Tory rag, The Telegraph, they reported last year that Corbyn was being spied on by MI5 during the 80's & 90's because of his IRA sympathy's.

MI5 during that time however missed Corbyn passing on info to the communists.

You just can't make this nonsense up.

BTW, you should read all the posts, the BBC is reporting it. Thank you.

So because the BBC reports it, it is true? Remember WTC 7.

I keep an open mind. Maybe MI5 knew and watched his dealings with the Czech spy while he had no real secrets of value.
Nothing would surprise me at those murky levels of power.

No, but several sources are out there if one looks. It's not my concern who believes what source, its in writing now so go read a paper you like. If it is fake, then I am sure Corbyn, Livingston and the others will start a class action lawsuit.

Hold on I thought he was part of the IRA?!?! He's been a very busy boy, what's next? He's been the secret Shah of Iran the whole time

Professor Anthony Glees corroborates the story. Apparently he met the guy in the House of Commons twice. Corbyn is vehemently denying this, so this is going to be interesting. Especially, since the Czecks were under Russian rule in 86/87.

All these " Wrong doings " Corbyn has been accused of, but never arrested as being a threat to national security.

You can work out the answer to that yourself.

MPs meet many people in the House of Commons because that's where they work , I'm sure he's met other people there more than twice.

alldaylong makes a good point , Corbyn would have been on a watch list because of his associations and left wing politics.

He was also high up in Galtieri's military junta according to some on here. Very busy boy indeed. Someone from a socialist background wouldn't be leading the polls to be the next prime minister now would they..?

Ah yes, Anthony Glees, an extreme right wing academic.

It must be true then.

No I can only keep an open mind, I'm not at a security clearance level to confidently work out an answer.

Fair one, it was ages ago so I stand corrected if you did

Corbyn won't be getting the PM job unless there is some massive Tory scandal or something...if he's innocent of all claims then he's subject to a major establishment smear campaign, screwed either way.

...but I still wouldn't trust him to mind my pint while I went for a piss πŸ˜‚

Its not just Corbyn BTW, its 15 people all together.

This is pretty spooky. Ken Livinston discusses MI-5 spying on him and Corbyn in 2015.

Same old narrative. They must be scared. Same method used on Trump with the Russians. This is a counter attack by the shadow government.
