You are exactly right. That's why Obamacare is being converted into a program for people who are lower income or sick.

If you are higher income and sick the government will not help pay for your health insurance.

But if you are lower income and sick.. or not sick, the government will pay for most of your monthly premium.

How is that different than what Obamacare does now? They don't help pay premiums for the higher income enrollees nor have they ever done so.

Let's thank rand paul for finding interstate insurance clause.

This will likely spread.

I think the mandate runs out this year.

Are you referring to the sale of insurance policies across state lines?

If so, there are many states that already allowed that. It turned out to be more expensive and the insurance companies abandoned the idea.

lol you mean it is turning out to be cheaper once we began to untie the web of obama.

No. I am saying that it will not happen and that will be the choice of the insurance companies.

We're no longer talking about "potential" changes. Blue Cross of Idaho is going to make these new customizable health plans available on March 1st.. in 2 weeks. Here is a premium cost comparison example:

Premiums for a healthy 45-year-old, for example, could be as low as $195 a month, according to a comparison issued by the insurer, while a 45-year-old with health problems could be charged $526. In that case, the 45-year old would find a lower price tag — $343 a month — for an ACA-compliant bronze plan.

As I stated in the Opening Post, it comes down to respecting an individual's right to CHOOSE. ObamaScrew took away that right.

If you are 50, don't have a chronic illness, and make over $50,000 a year, you'll pay about $800 a month for a $3,000 deductible ObamaCare policy. That same person will pay $350 for a NON-OBAMACARE $3,000 deductible policy.

The premium is lower because you're relatively healthy, and you will not have Maternity coverage. (Maternity costs $180 a month)

So we are going back to junk plans the bankrupt people because they dont cover much, have lifetime caps, and can drop you if you get sick?

It's funny that you bring that up. There are a few million people on plans like that right now. True JUNK that falls into the NON-health insurance category. It's because they can't afford ObamaCare, and free market, state-regulated health insurance has not been available, until NOW, but only in Idaho...for the moment.

Ok. That has nothing to do with the context of my comment.
