I get what you are saying but we will never see eye to eye on this.

Your beliefs are more guns = more safety where as I believe more guns make us less safe.

Education and tolerance, people having equal opportunity, love and all those hippie ideals can make positive change, in my belief anyway, adding more guns to an already volitile environment is like pouring petrol on a fire in the hopes of putting it out.

Obviously we are all in for wild ride in the near future.

WTF?

The shooter, shooting down the hallway, was in full metal garb, helmet, face mask, bullet proof vest - looked like a cop?

Not one NRA member has committed any of the school shootings, but keep spreading fake news

Edit: Its the failure of the ENFORCEMENT of the LAWS at hand that are failing to protect our children. Failure of Enforcement, is NOT failure of the Law.
Do we need different rape laws?? Or, maybe enforce them once they are committed?

laws are not able to protect a person.
laws are put in place to judge a person, and if found guilty, laws determine the punishment the guilty person should receive.

no law will stop mass shootings
no law will end gun violence in the united states

that is not what laws are for.

Many people, law abiding people believe more guns, people who are trained = safer areas to live.
Less guns = more violence because, if you cannot defend yourself against someone with a gun, because the state has taken yours away, how will you survive? Why is that so hard to understand?
Armed civilians save more lives by shooting, and/killing an armed robber, intruder than cops, the state, or someone without a weapon, but lyin ass media won't report that, because it goes against their anti gun stance.

www.gunowners.org...

dailycaller.com...
Just because you are anti gun, doesn't make you right in this instance.

Oh, not 1 NRA member is responsible for any school shooting, only mentally deranged, doped up on SSRI's, fatherless white kids do these shootings.

Unfortunately, it is you who cannot understand, nor accept the reality, because you slurp up whatever CNN and fake news spoon feeds you and you are unable to your due diligence to know about the facts. We are living in the digital age my man, its so easy to find info, at the click of a button. Aint that hard my man

I know you think you have all the answers, I hate to break it to you but you simply don't.

More does not = less. You have a violence / mental health problem in the U. S, adding more guns won't change that.

There are already mire guns than people.

I find it absurd that you make a generalisation that I'm not smart enough to understand your logic, perhaps it's worth looking at a more effective strategy than simply adding more guns to the fray.

Another 100 girls were taken from school in Nigeria.

It's not only a USA problem.

Kids are chopped up in china too.

So what is the solution?

Not our problem?

well, until you present one, a more effective strategy, when we already have effective strategies in place, except, the people who are supposed to be ENFORCE AND PROTECT our laws are failing our kids, then by all means.

What am I generalizing btw?

Just because you don't like it, it doesn't make our current laws and strategy wrong

What effective strategies? Security guards can't be everywhere at once. Plus, not all cops are SWAT units which is what you're expecting from a group that's charging a shooter.

Perhaps the local PD when they ignored the 39 times he was reported?
Perhaps when the person living with him (not sure if it was his foster g-mother?) reported to the police that she was concerned he was going to shoot up a school?
Perhaps when he used his real name in a social media posting that h wanted to be a professional school shooter, and the FBI did nothing?
Perhaps when he, himself, called the local PD and asked them to stop him as he was thinking of shooting up a school?

So many things that the local PD, FBI, and others were repeatedly warned about this before it happened, yet did nothing....NOTHING.

Then, when the inevitable did happen, they failed yet AGAIN by not entering to either distract or stop this nutbag from completing his sick mission.

Why make a new law for someone to ignore (including those sworn to uphold it) ?

What are you supposed to do when someone is reported? You can't take away guns for that, you can't throw them in jail forever. You can only convict someone once they've committed a crime and crimes can't be "we think you're going to do X" because you can never prove they're going to do that thing.

You can arrest his for animal cruelty for one (another of the reports that was given to them). That would trigger a series of events in which it would make it illegal to for him to own or purchase a firearm.

But then, that would have stopped him before he created the next incentive to trample the constitution due to fear and irrational emotional responses.

Like yours.

Ding ding ding!!!!

Now you get it.

Punish a crime AFTER the fact, and protect yourself from the crime BEFORE the fact (by carrying a concealed/open deadly firearm/machine gun/bazooka/etc)

That is the only solution that doesn't likely end this Republic overnight. Gun owners aren't a docile OR cooperative bunch. IE: We aren't a bunch of ##### socialists. We demand nothing less than TOTAL GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY and ABSOLUTE DEFERMENT TO THE SOVEREIGN US CONSTITUTION.

Exactly. Dirty socialist usurpers.

Apparently we haven't been doing enough to win the information war against the socialists. They need to stop USING a bunch of hysterical, overly emotional and impressionable kid-victims to advance their disgusting goals, however. Their victim status ends with me when they start trying to infringe on a civil right. I don't care how much trauma you've been through, or how emotionally disturbed you now are as a result, you WILL leave our god damn civil rights alone. Period end of discussion. Full stop.

Damn crisis actors. Time to point out all the inconsisencies of this ""shooting"" along with other ""shootings"" like Sandy Ho##. Doesn't help that coward Sheriff Israel is knowingly a Clinton associate, photographically verifiable. Dirty "Democrats" (AKA socialists) at it again.

They can make a positive change, sure. But not a change with deranged lunatics that want to murder innocent people (adults and children alike)

The only way to 100% ENSURE that psycho-killer can't carry out their deadly intent is to judiciously use deadly force to put the threat down. No one will drop their guns in the next shooting because someone offers them a chance to hug a tree. They WILL stop their attack, however, if legally heavily armed and trained citizens shoot them dead.

Education and tolerance, people having equal opportunity, love and all those hippie ideals can make positive change, in my belief anyway, adding more guns to an already volitile environment is like pouring petrol on a fire in the hopes of putting it out.

Perhaps. But those things aren't really possible. Only in dreams. In reality, there are 400,000,000 firearms (at least) in this country. Any sort of ban/restrictions is a day short and a dollar late. Technology makes these weapons simple to craft in your garage or a 3D printer. Even the mildly-intelligent British were able to craft "grease guns" to fight another occupying force (the Nazis)

And yeah, I agree with your last statement whole heartedly. We are in for some fun times, thanks to the socialist agenda.

I have a question for the anti gun zealots (I am not saying you personally, just the people who are)
I have personally provided some suggestions to try to prevent the school shootings, as others have done as well.
What I HAVEN'T heard are suggestions from that side of the aisle on how to prevent the school shootings if they actually do take away all the guns.

I'll hang up now and take your thoughts off the air, thanks.

If you take away enough guns (and ban the manufacture of new guns) the supply dries up and they become inaccessible due to price. That cuts down on their use in crime, you can see that in action now with fully automatics which are only very rarely used by criminals thanks to strong regulations and decades of implementation.
