Our children have the constitutional right to not be slaughtered regularly by AR15s.

Except when it comes to abortion.

Then it's a different story.

Damn Neo.. you are consistent over the years!!!

Who else buys a new "assault weapon" (not really assault weapons, those are select-fire) every time someone makes an asinine suggestion like this? Your hysteria/tear jerking funds the gun industry, FYI.

Getting ready to head to my local FFL and grab one of those Anderson's for ~450. Same day transfer, of course. Takes about ~25-30 mins to walk in-walk out. Very convenient. Not quite as convenient as buying online though, from private sellers. Which is also legal.

Literally had nothing to do with the question I asked, but cool story.

Please, tell me more...

Sure, as long as they are afforded due process..

Otherwise you're infringing on Constitutional rights for arbitrary reasons.

Do you believe mental illness didn't exist in the founder's day? It was far more misunderstood then, actually. Yet, the second amendment is CONSPICUOUSLY silent when it comes to mentally ill, felons, etc.

Obviously I have no problem with felons losing their gun rights, simply because they're afforded due process. Provided the "mentally ill" are also afforded those same protections, I say go for it.

Otherwise, infringing on anyone's rights is unacceptable for any reason. Why should one group of people lose their rights simply to protect the rights of another group? That isn't how the Constitution works my friend. There is no equity built in to those equations.

It is individual rights and rugged individualism. One for one, and you for you. Friends, family and neighbors pulling together to accomplish great things, and our nation achieving at the highest level compared to other nations.

We are exceptional. We are great. And it is this way because of our Constitution.

Are you cool with people not being able to buy Grenades, RPGs, Tanks, Fighter Jets, White Phosphorous bombs, and the like at their local gun store?

Those aren't banned by your Constitutional rights either, but somehow are banned and NOBODY ever (actually some idiots do) argue that you should be allowed to purchase those weapons.

Seems to be your M.O. - whenever talk is raised about gun restrictions, along comes you and the band of merry men to deflect and try to make it about something completely unrelated.

Yes, it's unrelated, no matter how much you try to pretend it is relevant.

Ok, here' s a test for you.
Which one in the image below do you want to ban?
Why do you think it should be banned?

I'll await your educated answers.

Thanks

Like I said, no matter how hard you try to pretend it's related, it is not.

They sound like a lovely bunch of nutjobs, praising themselves for having given the shooter his training and firearms.

No prizes for guessing who they voted for either.

And why?

The problem is that genetic amalgams aka Zygotes that god himself aborts 50+% of the time prior via miscarriage for the slightest of reasons up to 12 weeks...are NOT kiddies.

get past that and we can talk about how you don't want to feed or care for them once god DOES consider them "kiddies".

How about looking to see if Cruz was on psychologist drugs and needed them temporarily instead of arguing over guns.Every single gun ever made can kill people if you shoot the gun at than.
How about seeing if He was not taking drugs properly and was skipping doses or was over dosing or the effects of the drug worn off.Far better than arguing over a gun when every single gun in the world can kill people.

Owning a firearm is a choice.

Why shouldn't we have THAT right to choose?

Instead of the usual suspects making the choice for them?

Can I guess?

I'm going to go with the bottom one! Why? Because it was specifically designed to be the semi-automatic version of the military's M16.
