According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression that Flynn would not be charged with a crime pertaining to the January 24 interview.
Nine months later, with special counsel Robert Mueller in charge of the Trump-Russia investigation, Flynn pleaded guilty to one count of making false statements to the FBI in that January 24 questioning.
What happened? With Flynn awaiting sentencing — that was recently delayed until at least May — some lawmakers are trying to figure out what occurred between the time Comey told Congress the FBI did not believe Flynn lied and the time, several months later, when Flynn pleaded guilty to just that.

Flynn didn't mean it, either. I guess it's only illegal when Republicans do it, right introvert?
Flynn said in a statement after pleading guilty that he did so "in the best interests of my family and of our country." "It has been extraordinarily painful to endure these many months of false accusations of 'treason' and other outrageous acts," he said.

Either Flynn lied or he didn't.
The only reason they know he lied is because of ILLEGAL surveillance.
Good luck with trying to pin anything on Flynn.
Don't need to pin anything on him. He already plead guilty to it.

From what I understand, Flynn plead guilty to that charge so he did not face even more serious charges and he agreed to help with the investigation in some manner. That is why the sentencing has been delayed. They want to make sure Flynn holds up his end of the deal.

No. It's an offense no matter who does it.
But I think you are purposefully misrepresenting the context of this situation. Flynn supposedly plead guilty to that charge in exchange for the lesser charge and his assistance in the investigation.
That means he stood to face even more serious charges.

There are people that have done prison time as a result of flawed DNA evidence causing them to plead guilty.
In this case, the man plead guilty to lying to FBI agents... the evidence is in written memos that the agents write... no recordings(audio or video).
I guess if the FBI wanted to be more 'stone age', they would need to carve their 302's on a rock.

The FBI's policy of not recording interviews is highly suspect. I would argue they do it for the explicit purpose of facilitating perjury traps exactly like the one they caught Flynn in. By not recording the interview, they can claim the suspect said whatever they want.

That's speculation that we've all read or heard, but I echo the OP's point that we've never been told what he supposedly lied about.
You said it yourself, he "supposedly" plead guilty in order to avoid more serious charges. Could you give us a source for that? And WHAT did he lie about?
The court filings in connection with the plea reveal the likely reason Flynn was able to get that deal: He has agreed to cooperate in the special counsel’s investigation. In exchange, prosecutors have agreed not to pursue additional charges related to his lies to the FBI and not to charge Flynn for false statements he made when he belatedly registered last March as a foreign agent of Turkey. They may even have agreed to show leniency toward Flynn’s son, who reportedly faced legal troubles of his own. But the plea agreement does not appear to prohibit the special counsel from later pursing charges in completely different areas, including other false statements or obstruction, money laundering or the alleged kidnapping plot. That could mean prosecutors have concluded those charges are without merit, or could indicate there are still some areas of potential leverage over Flynn that prosecutors have held back.
