welp, when totally ignore all of the content go totally off topic and throw personal insults around sometimes it just doesn't end up making you look good

I don't know about that. Most people seem to think I look pretty darn good. : )

Um, I just recalled something about boomers, to illustrate how "known" and "studied" the phenom has been over the decades. I remember reading about some people, after they became school age, only going to school a half a day. The existing schools at that time, were too small to hold them all, so for a time, they had to stagger them over half a day. Wow.

Imagine in years to come, all these giant schools we have now will look so ridiculous! Maybe we can go back to smaller community based schools. It might be a good thing.

(some day I might write a book entitled "1,001 useless facts by Ladyinwaiting." I'll send you a complimentary copy.)

Back to ai, literally.

Crypto currency I am not a fan of. The dollar will be substituted but our country as we know it today, will be bye bye. I can’t say for sure what will happen but China holds allot of our debt. It will get bad. Unless we stop spending and work on that debt. The train wreck is unstoppable and each day that passes all doom porn aside brings us closer to one hell of a world changer.

appreciate the input though!

Didn't watch the video, your comment about "think you are going to sell your house" has me replying here.

I have been telling people around me this very same thing. Everyone has a home today, what happens to the housing market when all the baby boomers die? Houses, COndos or apartment buildings will take a hit...maybe not all of them, but some will...good bye fake economy!

They say, invest in a house, it's the only thing you can guarantee will increase in value in the long run...what goes up most come down!

I hear this about china a lot.

But they arent good at fighting or winning wars. It's just not something theyve done well over the years.

And we see the quality of their production. I would expect the war of atrition would be attritted planes and boats more than people.

I dont think it would be the armaggedon you think.

No but I think the world as we know it will end. I won’t speculate war with China, but I suspect since they have been in economics longer than the USA, that they may claim land... or something I dunno. Just chatting on the thread.

They would want there money. If we told them to go pound dirt, we may not just make an enemy with China.

Contrary. I predict the Chinese economy and government are far more capable of adapting in the future and their model of testing things out is eventually going to find something that works

well, I think the problem is in western culture just getting done what you need to get done to stay alive has become such a hassle that everyone has decided that adding the stress of a family into the mix just isn't feasible especially economically

add in doctor visits, dental visits, more insurance more registrations more shots more appointments

I mean damn how much more can we fricken fit in a day I'm already busy to the max already

The problems we face has been compounded by poor leadership, corruption in our market 2009 etc. health care system that is broken, capitalism unchecked, lobbyist in D.C the military industrial complex, poor border security undocumented workers breaking the wage dynamic in the economy, NAFTA poor trade agreements terrorism, I mean either or constitutional system is not designed for such complex problems or it boils down to our leadership. Hell the state DC is in with the polarization in the house and senate our problems will not naturally get fixed in that climate. I don’t think so. What sucks and what I think you recognize and others here is nothing we can do but sit back and watch. To me it’s sad. I try not to watch anymore to be honest.

We can vote. But I think the illusion is thinking we can fix it. We have been divided thruout ou history for a reason. I have hope of course but the way politics are now nothing gets done...

One day you will be 68 too and you will still be saying the same thing you are now. Because you can’t do anything about it.
And the younger gen will be blaming you for the worlds problems.
All I know is, what are we going to do with millions of people without jobs and a country of defunded social net programs. So the rich could get richer. That is our only use now, crumb snatchers or soldiers.

Think you are going to sell your house and relax in retirement? Wonder who's going to buy that house...

Older people occupying big houses on their own are already being blamed for a housing shortage.
Sooner or later, there's going to be a "Let's oblige them to sell" movement.

At risk of not watching the vid, Without listening to the vid, there is no reason why government cannot creeate all the money it needs for its own uses.

Similarly there is no reason why the govt cannot do this by creating money out of thin air just like banks do.

Governments can spend this money in the economy in 3 ways:

spending it into the economy via infrastucture projects and govt services.
spending it into the economy on corporate welfare
spending it into the economy on welfare for individuals.

The innovators always take their seat at the table. That is what itll take.

Boomers developed computers, making automation of complex tasks easier. They added enormous labor value to the market pretty quickly.

GenX developed new real estate known as "internet". This added incredible economic value almost overnight. It created todays world.

Where is the millenial innovation? That is what the world is waiting on. Give us that Strong AI.
