Evidence of a power struggle in Malaysia over the MH370 search and investigation has emerged. Four civilian investigators, including the lead authority on decoding data recorders, have been replaced by seven helicopter and fixed wing pilots from the Malaysian Air Force.

The move raises many questions, including about the integrity of evidence if the aircraft is found. Several members of the military will be aboard the search vessel while it looks for the wreckage.

It's possible. Part of me is saying this is like putting up a neon sign telling everyone they found something, and they're going to cover it up.

Or they decided to forget about the search for MH370 and go for a treasure hunt instead?

These researchers came up with locations for MH370 based on underwater gravity waves generated by surface collisions:

MH370 and MH17 crashes occurred three months apart .

How else can we connect the two, 'Politically'?

Well , wasn't the prime minister of Malaysia involved in a quite serious dispute with Obama ? Or was that the Phillipines / Anyhow there were heated words . Malaysia is from my reading a little stuck between the Western governors on one side , and the obvious proximal influence of the asian continent's alliance dragging it / the area back away from them slowly but surely . Potentially it's as contentious a region as say the Ukraine , or Syria , or Yemen And , for the same reasons .

That would have been the Philippines in response to having US serviceman in the country and claiming that whilst they where there ISIS would always remain a threat...

A major theory at the time of MH370 going missing was the royalty right to Patents that passengers held on board that would pass over to a company called "super conductor" I believe...

From what i have been reading here in England, the vessel turned around for refueling.

They are supposed to have found 2 more shipwrecks near to where 2 wrecks were found before by the previous search vessel Fugro.

A wooden cargo ship dating back to the early 1800s, at almost four kilometres beneath the surface.

The second wreck is likely to be the carcass of the SV Inca, a Peruvian transport vessel which vanished en route to Sydney in 1911. Both wrecks are located in the south of the current search area along the 7th arc, more than 2,000km off the coast of Western Australia.

I cant post pictures to ATS but the quality of the pictures of these recent finds is quite frankly amazing.

The issue with that theory though is that if the patent was developed on company time, barring some pretty extraordinary contract negotiations, the company already holds at least part of the patent. The individuals name goes on it, but the company gets at least partial credit and gets money from it either way.

Najib meeting with Putin at the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation in Russia, 2012
From picture, based on economic lines . Also potentially of interest

Malaysia has never recognised Israel and has no diplomatic ties with it,[118] and has called for the International Criminal Court to take action against Israel over their Gaza flotilla raid.[119] Malaysia has stated it will only establish official relations with Israel once a peace agreement with the State of Palestine has been reached and called for both parties to find a quick resolution to realise the two-state solution.[118][120][121][122

it was Duerte of the Philippines who called obama the son of a whore

Duterte has faced condemnation from human rights campaigners, diplomats and the UN for inciting a war on drugs that, according to official figures published on Sunday, has led to 2,400 deaths in just two months. The defiant Philippine leader has responded to critics with a string of outbursts, including labelling the US ambassador to Manila a “gay son of a whore”, telling the Catholic church “don’t # with me”, and accusing the UN of issuing “#ting” statements about his anti-drugs policies. Obama joins a long list of people whose mothers’ purity have been called into question by Duterte, including Pope Francis, Philippine bishops and a murdered journalist, as well as the drugs traffickers who are the main targets of his domestic law and order policies.

So perhaps , if someone downed 2 important flights , they do it so they can blame exactly who it wasn't , maybe once or the second twice as a reminder or a repercussion of the first and then force an international investigation to not find any evidence , and then Malaysia is unhappy about that, wants the real truth and then this power struggle emerges . Maybe that was the overall intent , or the potential cause in the first place anyway - a power struggle primarily an economic one which would spill into warlike acts and proxy battles , and possibly downed airliners

Patents only give the right to exclusively manufacture a novel product . No 'royalties' are payable by holding a patent . It also depends on where the patent is held , as to the potential value of production dividends because there is no worldwide patent office .

That doesn't change the fact that the patent almost certainly already belonged to the company, without some elaborate disappearing act that killed close to 300 people.
