On the whole if Trump wanted to be respected by people in Scotland and the UK, he probably shouldn't have endorsed the Britain First terrorist group who are responsible for the murder of British citizens and politicians.

Imagine if our PM had given a shout out to an ISIS video where an American was beheaded, and then refused to apologise for it. Americans would be pretty cross about that, no?

So yeah, no, your terrorist-supporting President is not respected here.

What country does Europe reside in exactly?

The United States of Europe or as they like to call it the European Union.

The initial EU budget of the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations - ECHO, as programmed in the EU's Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF) 2014-2020, amounts to approximately €1 billion per year (a total of €7.1 billion was adopted for the entire seven years of the MFF). In addition to the core humanitarian aid and civil protection activities, the 2017 budget includes support for the EU Aid Volunteers initiative and the Emergency Support Instrument (ESI) for operations inside the EU.

As if self-loathing ignorance would be of any help...

Sorry, people of the World! Wanking championship westerners still tend to eat the wrong cookies. We're working on that though.

You say that your previous President was a clown... Odd that you should mention clowns. Clowns are known for wearing clothes which do not properly fit them, for wearing faaaaar too much make up, for having hair that is utterly absurd in appearance and behaviour, and doing exceptionally stupid things, more than eighty percent of the time.

Of the two Presidents, Trump and Obama, Trump is the one who fits the profile as I state it above.

Wearing clothes that do not fit properly.
Far too much make up.
Having hair that is absurd..
Doing exceptionally stupid things.

You forget to mention
Falling over at most events
Regurgitating green slime
Acting like an idiot when put to a question, and
Rigging elections.

I'm sure I've missed some too, but it's good to know you agree that clinton is a joke.

America had reached rock bottom under Obama. The country was completely unrecognisable, but Trump is slowly but surely re-establishing the US as a world leader as opposed to a world cash cow. It will take years to undo the damage Obama did. He was a terrorist that managed to get elected President - shocking.

Now if you consume the media, who only report what they are told to by unelected fascists like those in Brussels, you might think differently, but people with IQ's greater than that of a dog can see what is happening.

If I remember correctly, respect for the American people and such are still very high around the globe, but opinion of our president has been in decline for a while.

I remember reading a poll that came out a while ago and there were only two countries that had a favorable opinion of the president and what he is doing.

Israel and Russia.

So I think we would have to separate the people of this country from it's politics to get a better answer.

The people are still good, respectable people in general. It's politics and it's politicians, including Trump, are among the biggest assholes on the planet.

The irony of this thread is that the respect, G.B. enjoyed from U.S. citizens, the respect of Canada, Australia, is also plummeting. The sheer lunacy of the leaders of those nations-all the while commenting on our leader- is utterly amazing.

We can see the end of the Commonwealth's cultures, as we speak.

Disrespect from those nations is, in my view, a validation of epic proportions.

Thank you, very much...

Yes , and understandably so.

The expected response from an Anti American, I'm not surprised. Considering your posting history that is.

American doesn't need to be respected, it just needs cooperating allies, we are an Empire after all. If not us, someone else will and other idiots will cry about that too.

I'm so glad you're on the other side of history, what a relief Trump won #MAGA.

We didn't think America could be a bigger laughing stock than it was under Dubya. But here we are with Trump.

And. Yeah. Sorry, laughing stock. Sorry to say, America is a great nation filled with great people. But your politics are a farce.

Americans like it that way.

Remember, America fought to get rid of the Monarchy.

In a Monarchy, the King (or Queen) rule by divine right. They set the standards, establish the protocols, and maintain the upkeep of the traditions. They set the order, the tone, and guide the people on the path that is deemed to be "the right path." We respect the King. (well, usually).

Americans, on the other hand, don't want anybody in office that thinks they are better than the average man.

The President is elected to do the will of the people.

He's not put there by God, to tell us what is right.

We tell the President what is right, and demand that he do those things that we want. Or, we "un-elect" him.

In fact, we limit his term, limit his powers, and if he demonstrates any propensity to act like a King, we mock him, and make fun of him on TV shows, all to "remind him" that he is just an average person like the rest of us, and pull him back down to that reality.

So, outsiders who live in Kingdoms, might find it strange, what seems to go on inside the democracy.

In a democracy, "We The People" are the "Monarchy". And all the government officials are "our public servants."

Many times, some of these public servants get way ahead of themselves, and start to act like Monarchs. Whenever they go too far, We the People correct them.

That's how things work in America.

Or, it used to work this way.

Who knows, maybe Trump will be King.

Or are you just going on what you're told by the MSM?

I dont know, personally, I don't give two hoots enough to scroll through anyones time line. Seems... weird.

Pure facepalm inducing ridiculousness is entertaining to me. Yes, I usually do it at work. I'm at work right now as I post this as well.

America is on decline.

Morally, Ethically, Socially, Economically.

I don't give a rats arse if the world 'respects' us.

Who respects the bully that uses force and violence to try to control everyone ?
Would you respect someone who kicks your door in and beats you up because he didn't like the way you did things in your own house?
As already mentioned, our country is very young, Great Britain stole this country for itself, then we fought for our freedom from them. And then turn around and let our government become the same or worse than what we fought to get away from.
Do we deserve respect or demand it ?
How many countries have their military spread around the world in the name of defense? Looks more like being on the offensive to me .

And I am not anti American, I like my country, I don't like what my country does in my name . I don't like the way the government thinks it knows what is best for us and even worse they want to tell the world what is best for them too .
We can't even get our own house in order, so why should anyone think that we can get any other house in order?

Funny, we (England) abolished Monarchy well over 100 years before the US was founded.

I can't speak for Europeans or for the citizens of "the colonies" because things were different in the past, colonialists did answer to the crown.

So like... We're well ahead of you, know what I mean?

In theory the English/British Parliament was divided into houses, with 'the commons' being a house of the people and for the people. Again, things were different in the past and Parliament has had various powers that have been shifted, even from or to the houses. Practice often turns out different than theory though.

We re-established Monarchy... We also dug up Oliver Cromwell's body then executed it too, anyways. Since then we are technically "subjects to the kingdom but then the Kingdom is subject to Parliament... Whom are subject to the people.

It's simple really.

You colonialists got your freedom loving ways from the lands you once lived on, believe it or not but many of us were actually rooting for you back in the day.

Kingdoms are lame.

Does this mean you guys will stop dressing like us?

Cause you are still dressing like us.

And they love rap music too.

Yes, conscious rap that critizes the "U"S and it´s society!
Like conscious rap in other nations around the world does critize their own societies too.

Maybe many people around the world like Rap music because most "U"S americans don´t, because it´s not completely white and because it´s coming from the underdogs, the more badly treated people of a society that critize the society.

Btw, music is an international language...

So people all over the world just pick something that Americans don't like and make it their favorite? If Americans don't like it, it must be good?

Most Americans don't like rap because it glamorizes the very lifestyle that is killing people every day in this country. Most of us are offended that any segment of society could monetize the loss of life and suffering brought by the gang and drug culture in this country. And for people like myself, musicians, we don't like rap because we appreciate music that takes some talent to create and perform. rap is the GED segment of the music society.

As for America losing respect around the world, well, that started with the clintons. Yes, you could pick out events prior to the clinton disaster that may have cost us respect in the global perspective. But the clinton years was the first time many of us recognized that we were perpetually seen as a bunch of clowns on the world stage. Wild willy playing hide the cigar and blatantly lying to the whole world about it pretty much sealed our fate. If he just had the balls to own it instead of taking the clinton way out we could have salvaged a little respect. But no. We are clintons. We have to follow indiscretions and lies with more indiscretions and lies. And now, thanks to the clinton buffoonery, we must endure the Newton's Third Law of politics. (lets see who gets that one...)

The world didn't care about your sex scandals. All you ever have is scandals, it's for the internal market.

Just like nobody really cared about Nixon's tapes... It wasn't the tapes that caused OPEC nations to turn off the oil was it?

It had nothing to do with screwing over other nations. You know... Like the ones set to lose billions because it couldn't get gold for their dollars and the dollar happened to be plummeting? Funny that.

Nah, you're a genuine idiot if you think the world cares about your silly scandals... We care more about the fact you bankroll wars, began picking sides and robbing other nations blind.

But we've never been blind, the US lost face a long long time ago. Boadicea made a very strong point about American exceptionalism and it's respect for life, all life. I wholeheartedly agree with the view point.

And you think you stopped being cool with the Clintons. Pull the other one.

Oh and BTW, rap or rapping is just a style of singing, making music with one's voice. The accompanying acoustics can be anything, the lyrical content can be of any nature. To think rap is all about guns, drugs n ho's is a very narrow-minded viewpoint.

It's like me saying all drumming must be a part of a march.
