I noticed that everytime I alert staff about something my ave. flags per thread (definitely) and ave. stars per post (not 100% sure) seem to go down. Is this intentional to discourage abuse and keep staff from getting swamped? That would be understandable and I don't have a problem with it.

I just saw it never mentioned and if is unintentional it might be a symptom of a potentially bigger and more important bug!

It's a side-effect of the fact that every alert starts a new thread (visible only to the Mods).
So this necessarily brings down the averages slightly.
