Steele will likely make a deal, if he survives.

The fact we're talking like this without hesitating now is quite scary.

suits? I'm sorry that you really do not have a clue how things work.

The IG is investigating this whole thing. There is a call from Congress for charges against Steele. That will be just the beginning. Steele will likely make a deal, if he survives. Page and Strzok are being investigated, and it's not looking good for them. Comey is also in hot water. More information will come out. As they follow the trail, which seems to go right to the top, THEN charges will be filed against Clinton and others.

This is criminal, not just civil. This is not about lawsuits.

they've already dismissed Page and Strzok private texts as being BS talk.......and steele is a british citizen that no longer works for the government....they can charge all they want, proving it in a court of law is a whole different matter.

The ONLY WAY this was possible was from direct support from Obama. Obama is as complicit in this as anyone. He is the ONLY one with the authority to allow this abuse of power.

Just to name a few who are complicit in the conspiracy to commit treason and the real actors responsible for collusion with Russia:

Barrack Obama
Hillary Clinton
James Comey
Sally Yates
Loretta Lynch
Rod Rosenstein
and let's throw the MSM into the mix as well because you need mass distributors of disinformation as well.

Carter Page was nothing but a scapegoat to illegally spy on an American citizen.

The dems are going to be flailing and hyperventilating at levels never before seen.

if that American citizen being spied on, is a traitor to this country, what's your problem?

Party Before Country..

It's in the small print inside of every MAGA hat.

Who cares if Putin owns Trump.

Says the people cheering on the deep state corruption to overthrow an elected President.

Kings and dictators get "overthrown".

Criminals get prosecuted.

Being elected President in the United States does not make one a King or a Dictator, despite what Trumpites think.

So, a foreign source was feeding information to Sydney Blumenthal and he was passing it to the State Dept so they could get it to Christopher Steele to include in his dossier. Then the dossier was used to spy on the Trump campaign.

At least we know now where the collusion with foreign agents to rig an election occurred - the Hillary campaign and Obama's state dept.

There was a second independently sourced Dossier that had similar findings as Steele's.

Yes, it originated from a former Clinton Campaign associate, but who else apart form Anti-Trump folks would investigate.

Wow. You sound like you're making excuses for them. Who gives a # that they broke the law. It doesn't fit your narrative so we'll just brush it aside.

"Who, Steele? He's a plain old citizen now. Focus on someone else"

I was thinking about this yesterday. Steele has become a major liability to the Dems: the DNC, the Clintons, and Syd Blumenthal all have potential criminal exposure. They cannot allow Steele to be dragged into court and questioned about his dossier. Plus, he isn't a federal agent, or lawmaker, or anything else that would (hopefully) shield him from being eliminated.

I'm sorry, but I won't be the slightest bit surprised if Christopher Steele turns up dead in the near future.

No, the 'corroborating evidence' was a Yahoo article that Steele was the source for, and the other dossier being mentioned was also written by Steele...and as we now know he was being fed information from Russian agents and the Hillary campaign, supported by Obama's state dept.

Lawsuits do not come before imprisonment. I believe you are conflating civil and criminal proceedings my friend

A prosecutor would have to take evidence gathered from LE's criminal complaint before a grand jury to indict her (or anyone else that isn't the President of the United States).

Anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Criminal charges, not so much

Two very different legal processes, standards of evidence, due process requirements, etc

Sober, that isn't true my friend

The second source was actually just given their information by Steele. Still all one source. A source that admits to being paid by an anti-Trump campaign, and made the statement several times that he was very passionate about Trump not becoming President.

Steele now has a criminal referral lodged with the DOJ for making false statements to investigators (totally impugns any credibility he had left)

Liars have zero credibility as far as criminal proceedings go. Steele's reputation puts him in the "side-show/comic book detective" leagues now. He's not near reliable enough for criminal investigations

Exactly right

I think the days of secret squirrel agencies hiding behind the public banner of government may be over.

Time to privatize intelligence/security at the federal level. Make them accountable and beholden to stakeholders, not some nebulous system of government that self-perpetuates its own rule over all else.

The government covering up for the government? No surprise there!

Patriots are rising to new levels of awareness

Jesus...you guys don't even understand your own Ops.

THIS is what is being referred to In the OP. Grasselys letter.

A second Memo(Dossier) was making the rounds and someone gave it to Steele.
Maybe a contact at State Department?
The other "memo" was compiled by someone that was on Bill Clintons campaign back in the day, but nobody has found any associations since.

Second Trump-Russia dossier being assessed by FBI
memo written by former journalist Cody Shearer independently sets out some of the allegations made by ex-spy Christopher Steele
