It reminded me a lot of the Aurora Movie theater shooting where some kid basically is assumed to be able to adequately murder people in cold blood like a trained killer.

The public accepts the contrived stories they are offered because it's easier to accept the fabrications than seek real answers.

I liked the Saudi theory, seemed plausible?

If you were an apt marksman?
Would armour piercing rounds even at distance pierce and cause those avgas tanks to blow?

Strikes me a some kind of attempt to try to re establish the lie as the truth cos too many people now have doubts about it all they dont bleeive it all, the damage is done so they are fighting a reagard action.

Bullets and fuel don't work like that anyways. An explosion requires a specific air-fuel mix and an ignition source, neither of which would be present in a closed fuel tank (Paddock had tracer and AP rounds, which aren't incendiary and won't ignite anything). At best shooting the tanks would result in a minor spill.
