Welcome to ATS! I think you will find the political discussion areas barely palatable, but unusually satisfying.

Otherwise, I'd say the site is "diamonds" With a lot of hidden gems throughout these forums, especially the aircraft forum

New members used to get cookies....i guess this is what 8 years of Obama has done to us.

Wow, Ya'll are great (so he's from the South...). I just left another forum where all would scream "Noobie!".
And their ads were borderline pornish. And apparently I will have to be a bit more deep thinking, whew. Tempers here seem tempered.

We do have great mods that keep us in line. I like that. Think ya'll will too. There are many southerners on here-also a big positive. Welcome.
