Snip apples! Do you feel the way the snip clings to the air, just before the snip blizzard???

Snip guards!

Let your snip guards down:

That;s not Skid Row!

I'm currently residing in Ennis, TX.
I just learned recently that this was "Dimebag's" home town.
I'm seriously thinking about hitting city hall up for a grant to build a monument.
Sorry about your friend Sapphire.
I know the feeling all too well.
Keep on truckin'.

So sorry about your loss Sapph.

Fight the good fight.

I have lost too many, and this always makes me terribly sad yet somehow gives me strength.

God bless,
Steve

And just because your Canadian, here is a bonus from one of the best bands from the Great White North.
Never Surrender

Honestly, I've got a thing against 'music with lyrics' (songs). view songs as mind control, especially the ones the Music Industry spoon feeds us. But for me its basically genetic. I prefer 'instrumental' / 'electronic' / etc.

So I dont have a rolodex of tunes for your situation like I 'should'.

But then again nobody needs a singer to tell them who to be, how to feel, and walk down the street.

So I advise play some non-lyricals, and find your power animal, and drag that of that lost loved one down the waterslide, willing or not. The power of your own mind is more powerful than MTV.

Actually, I LOVE music. I've got an armada of uber diverse MUSIC like few others could dare challenge.

I dont interpret music thru the lens of singers, is the difference.

Forever now, I get the feeling from people that to them 'music' requires 'singers'. But only SONGS do. Not MUSIC.

So I know no boundaries in seeking out tones of 'desire'.

Which works right into my wannabe 'I'm a filmaker' posture, as musc with lyrics interfere with narrations, while what I've found on this long path is, the cinematic music genre contains some of if not the finest musics out there (as the music is driven by ideas / scenes opposed to a singer)... which isnt stuff you hear on the corporate radio cycle.

After all these years at this point, following this handful of (available) music genres that get played out on the radio, about 'every song' had been sung anyways, sticking to those pre-defined heavily-produced styles, even the music itself it being regurgitated, you want pure raw original music outside the boundaries is where to look, anyways....

Excellent choice

How about some Dokken, "Alone Again".

Thanks for the thread Sapph, it really connected with my melancholy mood today.

ETA: Maybe a little older than you wanted, but a classic, and fitting, none the less.
